It's the Big East tournament and MSG. You have had another disastrous season and are again getting blown out in embarrassing fashion. Two regulars are unable to play and there is no chance of catching up. EVERY player on that bench who has contributed and busted his butt throughout this long season should get his moment on the court. EVERY player should have the opportunity to see some court time. Barring some major violation of a team rule there is simply no excuse for a player, including a walk-on, not getting in for the game. It is a disgrace that this did not happen. It is a disgrace that it did not happen on many occasions this year. His failure to give every player a chance to play in this last game is disgusting. He cannot be gone soon enough for me.

DFW, what was the final amount per win for six seasons? The web site JG Trends in 2022 had it at $1.1 million per win.

This game was the most painfully embarrassing game since the crushing FGCU game. Then exacerbated by Ewing’s post game comments which fostered continued hopelessness.

FGCU we expected to win and go to the second weekend. Last night we hoped it would end and we had no reason to believe we could win. We were proven correct. Akok was out, Moore was in and they were miles better then us. Losing by 32 was a bit shocking because Nova plays at a slow pace and just isn't that good. It just goes to show how epically bad we are. The next few weeks are going to be interesting with a Ewing termination, a "search" of some sort, players announcing departures but hopefully some light at the end of the tunnel. We all need it.

I agree every player should have played last night. However, my adjectives would have been different.

It's not harsh. He's a lousy coach and clueless human being. He deserves nothing but scorn. What stinks is just imagine what good that $12M, the buyout Ewing will receive, could do if it was put to a different cause. Homelessness in DC? Scholarships for first generation students? Better resources for the non-men’s basketball athletic programs? Instead, it’s going into Ewing’s pocket to leave…a guy that’s made tens of millions of dollars already in his career. It’s just such a waste. It really makes me question whether to donate in any capacity to an institution led by people that made this decision. And don't forget repreations for the human beings who built Georgetown University...
