Or maybe not so much. Hoyas drop their true home opener (a certain irony to playing American at The St. James on the assumption it would be cold, only to have have it be like 60°) to Towson in a close one. Then they go up to #8 Rutgers and lose 15-8.
One prediction I made that has not turned out is that the WLAX and WBB teams would really benefit from the Thompson Center facilities. On one level, I'd say it more evidence of the power school's rising tide lifting all boats... but there's non-power schools in the WLAX top 25, so it's not (just) that.

Not close enough to have a real view but it seems that the women's Lax coach has multiple jobs and obviously no accountability from Gtwn(as that the way it always is). Would think we should consider other options.
I remember we used to get really top recruiting classes but when he did not win with the top classes, we seemed to fade on the recruiting front and eventually on the field. My wife played in HS and college with the parents of a few of the top recruits we had a decade ago, 'll have to ask her to ask the parents what they thought of their experience at Gtwn.

One of three Massimino granddaughters to play Lax at Georgetown--Megan (CAS 2019), Nicole (Grad 2023) and Melissa (Class of 2024).

Not quite sure why there’s no repercussions for not being very good for a number of years in a sport where Georgetown should compete nationally?
