…that Pat has to go? We lost to a HS team today. That was literally the worst loss in GU history (if you go by opponent ranking). It can’t wait any longer. Action needs to be taken now!

Should have done been gone that’s why I know what to expect. The team can’t play defense at all. Pitiful all I can say.

Fine, send Pat packing. Absolutely
But Ronnie has to go or else it’s just window dressing
This is what corruption looks like

I can't imagine that anyone is still in the keep Ewing camp. Even if someone still is there, if we can't beat AU in DC who can we beat. I can't imagine how bad this season is going to get. Much worse than last year because this year has minimum middle of the BE talent.

Has to go and has to go intra-season to give us as much time as possible to do our search. Ronnie Thompson needs to be fired. Under his watch we have gone from a top 15-20 program to a top 5 worst high major program.

Can we afford the buy-out? if we can’t, renegotiate it so it pays out over 15 years in smaller payments thereby reducing Ewings tax burden and we can even give him Head Coach Emeritus or some other bull whatever it takes to get him far away from the court, RT gone, and a modern adaptable coach onto the court.

Can we afford the buy-out? The bigger question is, can we afford NOT to buy out? Seriously think of where G'town BB will be in one, two, three years with PE at the helm and then ask if we can afford it? Answer is pretty simple.

Turn the page. Ronnie too. Awful. I find it hard to describe what I see as basketball anymore. It’s like watching 5 year olds play soccer.

I’m fine with it. But it should be accompanied with some “I was wrong’s” about the talent on the roster—Pat’s roster to be sure.

Statistically — and I mean this not as a pot-stirrer— is Ewing not the worst coach statistically to have not been fired with over 3 years in-the-job?
As in…. ever… history of basketball?

Obviously we all know Georgetown basketball better than other high major programs - but he’s probably the worst in the history of basketball, especially when you consider what he’s been paid. Which would make his extension the worst contract in the history of college basketball.

Can we afford the buy-out? The university's endowment like doubled during the covid bounce back so yeah we can afford it, but ofc they will give you a thousand "reasons" why they can't

Statistically — and I mean this not as a pot-stirrer— is Ewing not the worst coach statistically to have not been fired with over 3 years in-the-job? Not even close. Examples: 1. Leonard Hamilton was 64-106 in six seasons as Miami. He made it another four at Miami and then was hired away by Florida State, where he's in his 21st season. 2. Dave Leitao was 69-112 in six seasons at DePaul-his second tenure there. Others: Ricky Byrdsong at Northwestern (36-76) Ben Braun at Rice (63-128) Matt Doherty at SMU (80-109) Jim Christian at BC (78-132)
