A shame that Chloe S is not in the lineup. Others will have to step up.
Hope to see Birdman or others in WI. Look for the Hoya banners and you will find me.

Unfortunately, I'll be here in DC tomorrow (and wearing a suit, in a rare in-person meeting in Penn Quarter) so I can't make it to WI. Hope all in attendance have a good time.
Good luck! Go Hoyas!

There were 36 teams in the women's race. With Chloe S. I think we would have been 6th or 7th. The nine teams ahead of the Hoyas were also ahead of them in the national polls.

The highest Portland finisher, right behind Parker in 38th place was Matt Stangio, a graduate of my Middle School XC team.

14 of the 16 teams ahead of us were nationally ranked ahead of the Hoyas. The University of Portland received votes and were ranked 31st and NC State was not ranked. However, The Hoyas beat Harvard (ranked 21st), Iowa State (ranked 11th), Michigan State (ranked 27th), and the other Jesuit GU (ranked 14th). The Hoyas came in ranked 28th.

The Stride Report:
10. Georgetown Hoyas (310 points) I'll admit, I thought Georgetown would be closer to the top-five than outside of the top-10 at the Nuttycombe Invite...but a 10th place finish is still pretty darn good!
Coming into this race, I thought that the Hoyas would show greater scoring potency and firepower followed by a significant scoring drop-off. But instead, they flexed a lineup structure that was somewhat compact (as far as scoring is concerned) as all five of their runners finished in the top-100.
Donahue, Jensen, Corman, McDonald and Chloe Gonzalez went 33-41-55-88-93, respectively, in the overall results.
But wait, there's a catch!
Chloe Scrimgeour didn't race on Friday. In our last update, she was listed as a top-50 individual in the country. If she enters this race and finishes in the top-50, then you're looking at Georgetown cutting off roughly 40 points and challenging for a top-five spot.
So generally speaking, this result was perfectly on par with our expectations!
