Georgetown: “Coach (Kevin) Nickelberry and coach Pat (Ewing) are some really good guys. They have a good plan for me. I trust any plan that has me going to the next level. They run a lot of sets that we run at John Marshall. A lot of ball screens, flare actions, down screens, and stuff like that. There are a lot of similarities between us and their school.” Oklahoma State: “I got closer with coach (Mike) Boynton. It was really interesting. I got to hang with Avery Anderson, one of their best players. He was just telling me about how college basketball works. My favorite part was hooping with the guys. It went really well. It was fun. They are very competitive.” NC State: “The best part was, once again, the plan. They are going to support me in my dreams. I’m all in on whoever I go to. I had never been to Raleigh, and it was actually pretty nice. Coach Keatts kind of models my game of a little bit like Dereon Seabron. They space the floor, set screens, and just go downhill from there.” Parker talks final two officials Missouri: “Coach Dennis Gates and coach CY Young are some good people. They were at Florida State before, and now they’re at Mizzou and putting the full-court press on their recruiting.” DePaul: “Coach Bino (Ranson) and coach (Tony) Stubbs are some good dudes. They see me as a potential NBA guy, and they believe in me also.” Mississippi State: “Great dudes. Coach (Chris) Jans and coach (James) Miller. Their sets are like what we ran at Team Loaded, so they see me fitting into their offensive scheme very well.” “I’m probably going to start cutting down my list in the next couple of weeks,” Parker said. www.on3.com/news/dennis-parker-talks-official-visits-nc-state-oklahoma-state-georgetown/

He wasn't talking about any other colleges prior to visiting those 3. The fact that he took the 3 visits and is now deciding about which others to go to, then cutting down a list, makes it seem like a commitment is further away than most observers thought heading into last weekend's NC State visit.

I read it like he wants to take all his visits as he's entitled to...but we're squarely in the mix to make his final cut. He described his relationship with the staff and the playmaking blueprint that will broadcast his game

Officially, Dennis Parker has narrowed his focus to include Missouri, NC State, Georgetown, Oklahoma State and USC. Of the five, however, the four-star wing has only visited the Wolfpack, Hoyas and Cowboys. So, on Friday, when Parker said he was likely finished taking visits, it made reading between the lines simple. It stands to reason that Parker’s recruitment is actually a three-program race, as Georgetown, NC State and Oklahoma State now feel like the only serious options to land the Virginia-based star’s pledge. Parker’s final visit was to NC State on Sept. 10, and Parker said he came away from that trip feeling comfortable. And while he’s not rushing into a decision and says he may wait until late November or even December to announce his choice, the Wolfpack should like where they stand for the time being. “It’s a great school overall,” Parker said of NC State. “I have people I know that used to go there and people there now that I’m really familiar with. Coach Keatts has been big on me since my freshman year, so respect to them.” basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/cassidy-s-takeaways-day-1-from-the-wootten150-camp

Georgetown: “My visit went really well. Kevin Nickelberry has been recruiting me since he was at LSU. Now that he is representing the Hoyas, he is going even harder at trying to get me there. I mess with the whole staff. Pat Baldwin and Patrick Ewing are good people.” North Carolina State: “My visit went really well. Kevin Keatts has been on me since I was a freshman so I am paying my respects to them. I mess with their whole coaching staff.” Oklahoma State: “I really like Mike Boynton and Larry Blunt. They have been good to me and have been showing me attention since my freshman year. They have a really nice team, a nice campus, and a good plan for me.” Parker says he plans on making his decision around the month of November. He says he does not want to rush his decision to ensure that he is 100 percent firm in his commitment. 247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/Article/Wootten-150-Dennis-Parker-Georgetown-NC-State-Oklahoma-State-194692942/

LOL! It was 'mess'. It's a positive thing, but I probably wouldn't have used it in a formal interview.

Need to be able to beat out NC State with a coach who will be fired after this year for Parker. Keep the momentum rolling on the trail.

Georgetown: “They have a plan for me to be one and done. Me and Coach Pat (Ewing) have been talking a lot. They’re really interested in trying to get me to sign that paper.” I would not call that a good look.

If he's a one and done it's one and done and on to a new college.

With only two days left til his announcement who's the favorite here? Georgetown should get him- I believe we’re the only school that’s told him he’s a 1-and-done.
