Nice quote and worth remembering that Jaeden's dad, Jerrod, played with the Knicks in the early 1990s. So there is a legitimate family connection there. In addition to Mustaf, Patrick Ngongba and Isaiah Abraham (son and nephew respectively of Hoyas assistant women's basketball coach Tajama Abraham Ngongba) are local class of 2024 top 100 recruits that are "family" - couldn't ask for a better connection from a recruiting standpoint, the staff's job should be pretty easy in that class.

Thanks for the local recruiting info. Let’s go, Recruiting Coordinator Nickelberry!!! Close this one, Pat.

This apparent recruiting pitch of "help us get back to what we used to be" is kinda strange to me...

The hardest part may be winning games to show a positive GameDay environment. It would be nice to have environments consistent to what they will see at ACC and B10 games.

This apparent recruiting pitch of "help us get back to what we used to be" is kinda strange to me... Hopefully after this year the pitch can be tweaked a little. Maybe help us finish the journey or seal the deal 🤷🏾♂️

Apparently we did not send Ewing to see him - most likely Nickelberry:

Jaeden looks to be around 6'7" now if his father is indeed 6'10". Definitely would be nice to get size on the wing to go with Bass.

Just noticed that my tweet was posted in here lol Feel free to follow (Warning: A lot of bad sports takes) I would say that’s a wise take on the current status of our recruiting pitch under Pat.

"Jaeden Mustaf, 4-star combo guard: IU is pushing hard here and there’s been talk of the 6-foot-5 Washington D.C. area product taking a visit to IU. He’s another one where, if the visit happens, the Hoosiers have a legitimate shot. Meanwhile assistant coach Kenya Hunter has made multiple trips to visit Mustaf, signaling this is a recruitment worth their investment of time. 247Sports Composite rank: No. 35 Key schools: Florida State, Georgetown, Maryland Mustaf likely to visit" www.thedailyhoosier.com/a-look-at-iu-basketballs-main-recruiting-prospects-in-the-class-of-2024/
