The BE outdoors meet will be held Friday and Saturday (May 13,14) hosted by UConn. UConn will probably win both the men and women titles, but there should be some interesting races in the meet.

First running event is the women's 1500m: three heats, top three make the final plus the other best times. The Hoyas have Rachel Sessa in the first heat, Chloe Gonzalez and Sami Corman in the 2nd heat.

The men's 1500m follows the women's. Only two heats with the top 4 in each heat plus the next four best times. In the first heat Lucas Guerra, Jack Salisbury, and Camden Gilmore. In the 2nd heat is Matt Rizzo.

The Georgetown women hold Big East 1500m record and the facility record. Katrina Coogan holds the BE record, while Treniere Clement has the facility record.

Rachel Sessa finished 3rd (to two Provy runners) in 4:25.04 to make the final.

Sami won the 2nd heat in a slow time of 4:41.28. Chloe Gonzalez finished 4th in 4:41.49, just 0.02 s from 3rd place and she will probably not qualify because the heat was very slow.

Jack finished 2nd in the first heat in a time of 3:46.67 and Camden finished 4th to qualify. Lucas finished 5th and will have to wait for a time qualifier.

Melissa Riggins ran away from the field to win by 2 seconds in 2:08.27.
Katherine Modrall Georgetown 2:16.12 did not qualify.
