For the men's 1500m the heats are arranged from fastest to slowest, so Jack and Matt are in the fastest heat. For the women it is slowest to fastest, so Sami is in the fastest heat.

Spencer actually did start, but did not finish. He may have fallen or ran out of gas in the last 300.

Sami had a really good race, it was a tactical race until the last lap where everyone went all-out. Sami ran around a 62 last lap, impressive!

In Spencer's own words: Was in 5th I think with 150 to go passing someone and then I just got tripped from behind. Tried to stay up and then got pushed again and fell. No injuries which is good. I was closing decently and wasn’t tying up badly. I would estimate I was gonna run 3:40-3:41ish but who Editedin cares. Felt toughish from the gun but I honestly felt fine with
a lap to go. I had to make some big moves around people opening gaps up a lot so In the future I gotta be closer to the front. I definitely don’t have that real good gear changer right now so I got dropped by a few guys at like 300 to go but I was holding my own and felt pop with 200 left. I think I’m gonna try racing oregon relays next weekend if I can pop into that.

The national rankings should be out today, but not yet. The regional rankings have the Hoyas still at #7 and the women move up one spot to #8.
The men move down on spot to #3 in the BE conference. The 2nd (Nova) and 3rd (Hoyas) teams total points added together do not have as many points as UConn. The women remain in 4th in the conference standings.
The women move up 4 places in the 1500 squad rankings at #13 and the 800 squad drops four for #11. The men move up 8 places in the 1500 squad rankings to #2. The top three are NAU (alum Mike Smith coach), the Hoyas, and the University of Portland (my son'a alma mater). The men drop 7 places in the 800m to #12.

The national rankings:
The women fell nine places to #38. The men rose 88 places to #51. So it seems as if the men and the women are converging. The men have Matt, Jack, and Matt at 7th, 8th, and 30th, respectively.
