If at least one of our centers does not foul out, I will not be happy. This is the most genteel way that I can say how I think we should play Kalkbrenner.

Depending how Rice plays tonight he may break the single season 3-pointer made record. Probably not until the next game or one after but unless something crazy happens he will break it. Probably breaks the attempt record before season end also but that isn't as definite. Hard to find anything positive so this will have to do for tonight.

Things I would like to see this game.
1.) Harris with better decision making the whole game and way less shooting. He still needs to be a slight threat but he is forcing it way too much with his twos. The 3s he is taking are all good looks but he just isn't good from there. If he can have the same shot selection from inside the arc I can be on board with that.
2.) Beard some more minutes. I am still in the belief that Harris is better this year but Beard hasn't had any TOs the past 2 or 3 games at least. I wanted to see him come in but not be the primary ball handler to take pressure away from him. Ewing actually did that for the Depaul and Provy game and Beard wasn't awesome but didn't turn the ball over. He then gave him more ball handling duties against Creighton last game and he handled it way better. There aren't many instances I can point out that Ewing did something good but the past three games I think outside giving him more minutes he did what he needed for Beard and Beard responded good and seems to have some confidence back.
3.) Some type of defensive adjustment. I know this is asking for a miracle but we just played them so if they kill us in the same exact manner that is beyond baffling. I doubt anyone on here thinks Ewing knows nothing about basketball so I'm sure most agree he thinks there is an issue. We mostly agree he hasn't been able to convey how to change it but hopefully we see at least something.
4.) Wilson was the best center last game and I did agree with Ewing to give him the most minutes but I would like to see more Ryan tonight.
5.) Aminu looking to pass at least some times rather than forcing it especially when we have a 3 or 4 on one on a fast break and he still tries to take it by himself. Our fast breaks are atrocious and him and Harris are the biggest problems.
6.) I still like seeing Jalin with a center. He still hasn't been awesome but I think he has potential at the 4 and he is being asked to play the 5.
7.) Rice to continue his past two game performances. He still jacks some but he has cut down some of the more obnoxious shots.
8.) Finally pulling whomever when they actually need pulled for decision making.

I hope we play well tonight. I am planning to watch the game and pull for the Hoyas, though I will be tempted to switch to the Olympics if things go poorly. I hope it’s a close game and our guys have a chance to get that elusive first Big East victory.

Georgetown needs to get down the court quickly on both offense and defense and they need to watch out for Creighton's leak out. They do that a lot.
