This is just the Skip Bayless tactic of setting it up so that he can roast the program even more if and when we lose. Skip does it all the time with Lebron lol. It's looking impossible for the Hoyas to lose to South Carolina this season - this isn't the same Gamecocks team that looked like a sleeping giant a few years ago. Coastal Carolina has already lost to UNC-Wilmington and Toledo this year, so it's not like South Carolina lost by 24 to a good team. Also, Frank Martin seems to be blaming everything on his players (sound familiar?) - check out some of these quotes from last night's postgame: “I told the team in shootaround today that we’re taking a 20 spot,” Martin said. “I told them, and that’s what happened. I should have been a prophet.” “(Our bigs) got nothing done,” Martin said. “Played with no physicality, no presence on offense, no presence on defense. (They did) nothing, and that’s including Wildens. It was just a complete waste of time, the way our big guys played today.” www.thestate.com/sports/college/university-of-south-carolina/usc-mens-basketball/article256250537.html#storylink=cpy“There’s no basketball to be talked about,” Martin said. “We’re embarrassing.” southcarolina.rivals.com/news/mbb-coastal-carolina-dominates-south-carolinaI predicted the Hoyas would win by 13, but I could easily see it being a 20+ point Hoyas blowout victory... Based on your opinions of the quality of players on our roster I have a hard time believing you actually think this. Imo It's hard for any team to adjust on the fly after losing your best player, but they do have some talent and should be more prepared on Sunday after taking on the chin @ Coastal.

Your definitely seeing something that I am not remotely seeing w/this current team. I don't care how bad SC is we barely survived Longwood without their best player...I don't see us blowing anyone out right now... Man y'all keep stating how Longwood didn't have their best player as if they didn't have Bron Bron. Having their best player is not necessarily a additive situation. In fact I bet that it would have been a easier outcome for us. Others stepped up and played out of their minds in the players absence. For instance Wade was averaging about 7pts but scored 21pts against us.

If you're asking that honestly, it's likely Aminu and while I love his potential, not having him would likely lead to better ball movement and maybe higher quality shots overall. That said, I'd rather have him then not.

For instance Wade was averaging about 7pts but scored 21pts against us. Longwood's player that missed also just happened to be their only real inside presence. Holloway doesn't have the game he has and we likely don't outrebound them as much which were the keys to victory. The guy is shooting 73% on the year and has the highest BPM on the team. This wasn't the case of them missing a Mac Mclung type best player. Who knows how much he affected the final outcome but I think we caught a huge break. In some circumstances your thought process is right but what Leslie provides them is something they really have no backup for and he play efficiently unlike other best players.

Says the game is on SEC ESPN. Not sure how to find that. We have Fubo and get almost everything else sportswise with that, but I am not finding SEC ESPN. If anybody could lead me to it, I'd appreciate it.

If anybody could lead me to it, I'd appreciate it. Your fubo plan must include the SEC Network but it is only included in your base plan if ypu live in certain states. Otherwise, you need an add on to your base plan. If you live in the states listed below, you will receive SEC Network and/or ACC Network with your fubo base plan. Channel In-market States SEC Network Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas ACC Network Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New York, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia If you live outside of these states you’ll need an add-on package, fubo Extra ($7.99/mo*) or Sports Plus ($10.99/mo*) to receive these channels. If you started your subscription to the fubo base plan prior to April 1, 2021. The SEC Network is an American multinational sports network owned by ESPN Inc., a joint venture between The Walt Disney Company and the Hearst Communications.

Thanks very much - that's helpful. I live in Connecticut -- will have to look up my plan & see.

For those who don’t know, Frank Martin looks quite different. He contracted COVID sometime either last year or this year and then he said all his hair fell out and he’s not sure if it will grow back.

our team is not very good right now. however, holloway's emergence has been a plus surprise. Riley could be next - has talents and looks like a player. add those 2 to harris and Aminu - thats a solid nucleus developing. in the mean time carey and rice can contribute as well. We can "win" from losing as long as we keep developing the younger guys. it'd be nice to win but theres a bigger picture. GU reached out to Martin when we were searching for JT3 replacement - he was a "hot" coach then.

Last report I heard on this board was that Dante was in a boot. Any update or scuttlebutt?

The guys have to get it together, play as a cohesive unit on defense, and be sharp. We are underdogs, but we've got to turn things around at some point, and might as well be today.
