Our defensive offside On the fourth and two which extended their last scoring drive was a killer

it's "situational" football. it has nothing to do with who has the better athletes. not the 1st time i have seen us lose games in these type of moments. not one but two blocked punts (on consecutive possessions in the 4th quarter!!!!) returned for Td's in HC game in 2018. Colgate never intended to run a play from scrimmage on that offsides- it was a total 'sucker' play. colgate ends up scoring TD after that 'gift' and on ensuing kick-off we commit a 15 yd personal foul (away from the ball !!!!). putting us in a complete hole on next posession. how about the T.O. called by 'our' sidelines on our 2nd to last drive- as ball was snapped - we complete on 3rd dn a 20 + yd pass that gets wiped out (bc of T.O. called) -killing our drive and any chance to tie. these things matter only if people care.... so much indifference to GU football program in general. problem is we compete against programs that actually want to win and place emphasis on that
