Loyola does get the A-10 into the Chicago tv market.

I don’t know if anyone was watching but it was satisfying to watch OK state taking OU’s chances of making the playoffs for themselves as it’s great to give ditchers a swift kick in the rear as they leave (also wow Texas is soooo bad but they still think they deserve better lmao). Now OK state and Cincinnati (future big 12 member) both are likely to make the playoffs atm, OU and texas who?

If OSU beats Baylor and GA beats Alabama next week, it would be a travesty if ND gets in over either of them (or Cindy).

Very true especially since the committee has deliberately sandbagged Cindy all year and ND lost to them (and also had a weak schedule too which is a prime complaint about Cindy). But you can never be too sure with an obviously biased committee that still thinks ND is the best team ever every year lol the A&M debacle last year was annoying af

Good call to not go coach in a harder conference to get clobbered when you can’t even win the one you are “too good for” and just hilarious overall On a real though, Baylor won basketball when texas floundered (and is terrible at football atm) and now the bears are playing the cowboys as Houston (a final four last year in bball) plays Cindy in their conf finals with two of those four having a great chance at the playoffs lol and BYU is no 12 right now after cleaning UVA’s and some of the PAC 12’s clocks as an indie. The Big 12 will be fine, there are more things in life than money especially when it was tied to having spoiled whiners in the conference lol

Easy choice. ESPN also reporting OU targeting Kliff Kingsbury as its next coach. Let’s see - Arizona has the best record in the NFL and maybe the best young QB. Why would he even consider OU?

Lincoln Riley got a great deal from USC, but he was already making a lot of money at a place where he had a track record of success and coaches have a history of lasting a long time. It makes one wonder what he thought of OU's impending move to the SEC. OU probably didn't have much of a choice when they were invited and Texas wanted to go, they'll make more money and it's more stable. But taking this job and talking to LSU gives the appearance of misgivings about OU's position in the SEC. Pitt, Syracuse, and Boston College haven't been relevant in football or basketball since going to the ACC outside of a SU football win over Clemson and a fluke final four run. Riley might have envisioned a similar uphill climb to maintain their stature in a new conference with opponents located in states with more talent, or places where they don't have to beat out so many other instate teams for talent (all the Texas Big 12 teams)
