The women's steeplechase heats while they don't have any Hoyas have two sisters of Georgetown alums: Margaret Coogan, sister of Katrina, and Kathryn Nohilly, sister of Eion (and daughter of one of the American elite steeplechasers). Both attend GWU.

Jack Salisbury's time in the 1500m heat was 3:37.18, which is 4th on the all-time Hoya list just behind three Hoya greats: Steve Holman, Chris Lukezic, and John Gregorek!

It looks like Sami was the beneficiary of Chepkemei of MTSU getting DQ'd!

I didn't even see that. Good for Sami.
Cathi McIntosh finished 6th in her heat in 2:05.81, not too far from her PR. These 800m runs by the women were the fastest prelims in NCAA history.

Maggie Donahue finished a very creditable 8th place finish in 16:17.30. No chance for a time qualifier because they only take two after the first five. Unless there is a DQ.
