Lost some respect for Cooley right there. Bad look. Agreed, that snub by Cooley was uncalled for. I can only imagine the meltdown our board would have had if we had fouled up 1 in OT under 4 seconds to go. In all honesty though, if there's a current BE bubble team I would have liked to see miss the dance despite losing out on some NCAA shares, it'd be Xavier. Of all the teams since the NBE formed, they're definitely the one program that is becoming more and more insufferable as time goes by.

The three underdogs won the three BET First Round games yesterday! Rinse and repeat.

Thanks, Providence. UCONN now has a bye to the semifinals and can rest players Heck the way Providence was playing they'd get a tougher game from DePaul lol. They looked like a different team with Freeman-Liberty in the lineup. He had 21 tonight.

Feels like both Xavier and Seton Hall had their seasons fall out from under them once they lost to us. SH still has some time to rectify it though SH just confuses me. Tons of talent with a probable NBA lottery pick big man(Mamu) and great guards. If I were an SH alum I'd be very down on coach. Have you felt this way watching Mamu play this year? I have not watched a SH game this year and thought "that's a pro". I have always thought that he was a good college #2....

I don't think Mamu is a NBA player. He may get drafted in the second round or picked up as a free agent, but I don't see his game translating to the NBA. Don't get me wrong, he is a really good college player who has improved greatly in his time at Seton Hall and gets the most out of his ability, but I think he would struggle with the quickness and mobility of NBA players.

You got the sense he was really frustrated with his team this year. They had enough talent/athletes to play much better and for some reason he was not able to get them to come together like he normally does. Normnally his teams improve as the season progresses but this year his team was painfully inconsistent. My guess is the snub was not aimed at Leito as much as it was him being really annoyed with his team. Whatever the reason is, it is a bad look and he has been around long enough to know better.

I don’t think Wojo and Pat shook hands after the game. It was more a long distance wave. But maybe I missed it while celebrating. So maybe they are under instructions not to do it, but it looked bad because Leitao was coming over to do it.

Yeah a lot of people watched Mamu the last 2yrs playing 2nd option to Myles and saw him excelling in that role. They translated that to Mamu being a great player but it's a lot easier to make plays when 4 of the 5 opponents are watching Myles. Mamu came into the year on the short list for BEPOY and at this point I'm sure he didn't get 1 vote.

Yeah I think it looks worse because Cooley's assistant stayed behind and gave Leitoa a fist bump.

With Mamu I think alot will depend on how tall he really is and how long his wingspan is. The eye test, he looks too slow to guard anyone who isn't a center. So stretch 5 or back up center would seem to be his only position at the NBA level.

Huh, if it's tier 1 staff, shouldn't they be put on hold. Duke is ending their season due to a manager testing positive.

Best case scenario for us with this 2nd QF going to OT.
