Cole just slammed his face on the floor and left bloodied. Not sure yet if that's a concussion.
Edit: back on the bench, so probably OK.

It’s Creighton. Bury them.

My ideal outcome so far. I was hoping to avoid StJs and UCONN. Not that Creighton is a pushover. I just believe we matchup better with Creighton and I believe we will have a chance with 3mins left.

I didn't really have a preference as to who we'd play tomorrow, but I was getting a little queasy with the thought of UConn just walking back in and winning the BET. It shouldn't be that easy, and it's not.

It shouldn't be that easy, and it's not. Yeah, agree. I will root for them in the tourney “for the conference” and they are clearly a good team but I really didn’t want them to waltz in and win their first conference tourney. Hope our guys get some good rest tonight and come out tomorrow ready to chop some wood.

Just spent a few minutes perusing the UConn board, the-boneyard.com, after the Huskies' loss to Creighton.
Very disconcerting...they are, almost unanimously, openly rooting for Ewing and the Hoyas, and showing us great respect.
I feel like I've stumbled into a parallel universe.

Has anyone else completely fallen in love with Steve Lavin like I have the past four days? He has been so positive about all things Georgetown and Coach Ewing (and spot on accurate in my biased opinion). I nearly soiled myself when he was saying that after watching this run every top recruit in the country should have Pat’s number on speed dial. Donny Marshall’s been great too. And Patrick is becoming a master at the immediately post-game interviews. Saying just the right things each time - and I love how he keeps mentioning the guys coming in next year and talking about the momentum we are building and how the future is bright. And the fact that you can’t stop smiling when he gets interviewed (many non Gtown fans have said same thing to me) is a nice look. It seems obvious to me that the “high level” basketball world really respects (and it seems adores) Patrick Ewing and it is so nice to see the wildly positive press and reactions to this run (which really started January 30 - not March 10).

Anybody else shocked at how bad UCONN, especially Booknight, looked last night? Sure you can credit Creighton defense but holding UCONN to 54 points is ridiculous (scored 98 against us). Is Booknight hurt? I was looking forward to a matchup between him and Gonzaga in the Tourney.

He only played 20 min the previous night due to cramps and needed an IV I think and I can tell ya from once playing 5 soccer games in two days that once you get bad cramps you will not be the same so I think he will recover in time otherwise UConn is in trouble

UCONN is a different team when he's healthy.

Bouknight is very talented, but he has had a variety of physical issues over his two college seasons. He is very skinny and still looks like a kid physically. I think he may have a tough time holding up physically in the NBA in the early portion of his career. If he is struggling to stay healthy playing against college kids twice a week, he is going to face a significant challenge playing against the full grown men he is going to be facing roughly 3 times a week in the NBA. Hopefully he develops the strength/endurance to handle the NBA, because his talent level definitely gives him a chance to be a good NBA player.

So is this Tourney Run better than UCONNs's 5 games in 5 days? Mind you that team was highly ranked, who due to an average conference record had to play Tuesday.
No one saw this coming from The Hoyas. I know they played UCONN tough last week, maybe that was the indicator. But once they got Nova, you saw the rest of the bracket and it was clear they could win absent a let down. Creighton was a way better matchup versus UCONN too.
