I know this probably belongs on the pro board, but there's a rumor that Isiah will eventually offer Larry Brown the job. How does everyone on this board think that it will affect Sweetney? Will Brown's coaching harness or hinder his abilities?

If the offense is similar to what it was in Detroit, then Brown won't care about size or bulk down low (he won a championship with Olden Polynece) as much as he will care about having a defensive-oriented team that can run the break and failing that run a half-court set with a lot of cut for a sharp shooting guard (I guess that's Q ...). It doesn't seem to auger well for Sweets - but Brown does like to use young talent and potential, so I would say its not all bad for Mike.

Sweets just needs to hit the stairmaster and treadmill like never before. If he can get his conditioning and running up-and-down-the-court skills maxed out, he'll get his chance to play.

Brown won a championship with Olden Polyniece (sp)? So that was Olden masquerading as Rasheed Wallace all this time!

Olden put in some quality minutes guarding Shaq. Look the point is the man was actually played in the NBA Finals - most teams would call that suicide.

Olden NEVER won a championship and I think you are talking about Elden Campbell. Olden's claim to fame was helping UVA get to the Final Four in '84 which is the best Final Four ever--- ;D ;D ;D

Ok, sorry, wrong stiff center who had an unremarkable NBA career.
