Yeah, I know, I was at that game. But, it seems like all past sins have been wiped away so I’m wondering what it will take for the performance this year to start to become a problem. Seems as if nothing that happens this year will matter but there has to be something, right? The something for me would be a total off the court collapse and losing members of the recruiting class. Everyone knew this year was going to be bad on the court unless Pickett, Q, and Blair all performed at all-conference levels. It would be nice if, at some point, the being really bad at basketball part would be taken under consideration.

I personally see no point to continue to gnash teeth about bad performances when the team is who we thought they were.

The team is bad (I’m very skeptical that everyone thought it would be this bad) but that doesn’t preclude improvement by the coaches or the players.

I think it was clear to most of us from the very beginning of the year, that this is one of the least, if not least talented team we've had at GU since 1973. I agree it doesn't render PE immune from criticism of his coaching...but at least in my mind, its pointless to take losses very hard or taking shots at the kids. The kids seem to be giving their all, which is the most we can ask from them.

My frustration is that the problems with the coaches have been the same for four years now and I just can’t imagine why anyone thinks it will be any different next year. Believe it or not, I am quite fond of GU basketball and would like to see it be good again. Waiting a couple more years to do the inevitable seems incredibly wasteful and destructive.

With the depth of today’s transfer market I was expecting a little more from Harris, Bile, and Carey. I think if there’s any blame to go around it’s that the staff missed on this front. We had a great opportunity to offer a guy (a la Pryor), and we did not get anyone that could bridge the gap until the roster could be rebuilt.

Kicking myself for not picking "postponed" in the prediction thread.

Sadly i am somewhat relieved though the postponements will not help a team that needs practice and i assume that this will not occur now.

I hope everyone is ok. At least I don’t have to watch Max Strus hit 10 3s against us.

Best wishes to all Hoyas for good health and, if they are infected, a quick and full recovery.

To DFW or anybody who would know, when was the last time a Georgetown game was postponed? I do not consider the Florida carrier game to fit, as the game started, and was suspended in game.
