We are at a point where results are irrelevant the rest of the season. Just play the kids and get them confidence heading into next year.

Is Berger dressed? I would think he could potentially help.

At least we are developing our freshmen and incorporating them into consistent roles

The shots are there and we just can't hit them. Bad misses too.
Don't know why more teams just don't zone us up exclusively.
On top of it, we fell in love with jacking up threes instead of getting some 2s and now we have this big deficit.

The unfortunate thing is that I think we actually have looked reasonably good. Few turnovers. Have gotten a lot of open looks. We've stayed connected for most part on D.

Pickett MIA. Harris struggling I hope Beard is able to contribute because I’m not convinced Harris is going to be consistent enough at the PG position for us to get the most out of the talent coming in.

It’s like our Varsity squad got COVID, so the JV had to fill in 🙃

If there was ever a season that could have used a full practice and preseason schedule, this is it. Nor that we would have been good, but would have been less tragic.
It seems like coach has no idea what he’s going to get out of players on a game to game basis. Putting Wilson in seemed to pay dividends in the middle of the half, but I have no idea what the strategy is for guard, wing, or forward rotations.

I feel like Ewing is just trolling us at this point by putting Hollaway and Wilson in.

Really started out with good ball movement and open shots, but I guess they are not waiting until the second half to stop playing defense. Really not certain what is going on with Blair these days as he is taking really bad shots and not contributing on defense. Rebounding has suffered tonight as Orange crashing the boards. Reminds me a little of the Navy game. Sibley, Clarke and Berger should be off the bench before Holloway i would think. Ewing really seems lost as to what to do. If this team will come out and move the ball we can still get back in this. Orange not that good of a shooting team but then again no one is until the play the Hoyas.

The team should have watched the Otto porter or the Jabril game (or was that the same game) Obviously we don’t have Otto porter or Jabril. We threw it to the foul line a few times after the 11min mark when I was able to start watching but that’s it. And did nothing with it. Need a big at the baseline and a cutter. I think we might have those two type of players. Also, “rebound!”

We came in with a good game plan, but we just don’t have the personnel. No alpha (Pryor, Porter) to take over.

Only 4 turnovers but gave up 7 offensive rebounds, 9 second chance points and 10 points in the paint. I thought Wilson actually played pretty well.
If the guys had focused on trying to get good shots and not trying for the 7 point shot from behind the arc every trip down the floor for the last 8 minutes this would be a tighter game...

The substitution patterns are baffling.
