Didn't the school and coach announce we were going back to b&g? I know coach did at at least one press conference/q&a.

How many teams use gray at home? That has to be pretty rare right? I mean don't most sports franchises use a grayer or at least darker road uni? Outside of the NFL and NHL, yes.... they all do. Thinks for the reminder about what NHL jerseys actually look like, Buff. It's been so long ... (couldn't resist).

Brick mentioned the blue and gray at the Hoop Club meeting last year. It was his first order of business.

And thus shall it be inscribed in the annals of the Georgetown basketball history project: "Though speckled with some noteworthy accomplishments, including a trip to the Sweet Sixteen in 2001 and the tour-de-force 3-year career of Michael Sweetney, what is now known by Hoya fans as "The White Jersey Era" is generally lamented as, ironically, some of the darkest of times. The White Jersey Era saw the retirement of the legendary John Thompson, losing conference records, unprecedented levels of transfers, and the brief but unremarkable career of head coach Craig Esherick. Fortunately, the White Jersey Era met its demise early in the tenure of head coach John Thompson III, who ushered in a new age of Blue & Grey as Georgetown re-established its rightful position as a dominant force in college basketball for many years to come." Brief? You think the Esherick era was brief?

Well, we're supposed to be going back to blue and gray but we haven't been guaranteed gray home unis yet I dont think. Who's not "guaranteeing" this? Georgetown? Nike? All I was saying is that the information about this has been VERY vague. No official announcement is bad enough, but they haven't even unofficially clarified it. When Pitt had a uniform change in football it was a big press release and event. We get nothing, and while they say we are going to be using blue and gray, that could just mean blue away unis and white home unis with blue and gray details, trim, numbers, that sort of thing. They could still consider that blue and gray. Basically, Im just very skeptical of everything now and probably no one will know whether we'll actually have gray home unis till they take the floor for the first game. But I'm really, really hoping that the home unis are gray and the away unis better be dark blue like we expect.

Everyone is acting like the announcement at a Hoop Club meeting guarantees us gray home unis, but Ive never heard an exact clarification of what Brick said.
Blue and Gray could very easily mean white home unis with blue and gray on them, like they wore at home 4 years ago or so, like the ones that were worn during the infamous 4OT game.
That would still be about 20 times better than the white with teal numbers, but only gray home unis would be perfect.
