Will someone please stop the carnage? The booming labor market is expected to extend a remarkable milestone in April, matching the last longest period of low unemployment on record. Economists predict that the April jobs report, to be released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Friday morning, will show the unemployment rate holding at 3.8 percent, marking the 27th consecutive month of unemployment below 4 percent. This would match a low-unemployment period between 1967 to 1970, and close in on the longest period on record, between 1951 to 1953. www.washingtonpost.com/business/2024/05/03/april-jobs-report/

Microsoft v. Grifter's Foxconn scam. "Republicans" = ignorant morons. Biden heading back to battleground state of Wisconsin He is planning to announce a $3.3 billion investment by Microsoft to build a new artificial intelligence data center in Racine, which the White House says will create 2,300 union construction jobs and 2,000 permanent jobs. The center will be built on the same site where Taiwanese manufacturer Foxconn had once planned a giant manufacturing campus with 13,000 high-tech jobs. The plant was once touted by Donald Trump — who appeared at a groundbreaking and called the project the “Eighth Wonder of the World” — but it became a symbol of failed promises. www.washingtonpost.com/elections/2024/05/08/election-2024-campaign-updates/

Remember when Republicans kept saying how great the economy was under Trump because the stock market was doing well? Why isn’t that the case for Biden? I can’t seem to keep all their hypocrisy and double standards straight.
