Where do you think our team will finish in the Big East for 2020? Also, if you can, please name which teams you think will finish in the top five in the Big East and give your reason(s) why?

BE is going to be strong in 2020. There are a couple of teams at the top then a bunch of good teams that will be slugging out the rest.

No way to tell. Too many newbies and not enough proven talent returning.

If there is a vaccine approved in January will they give it to sports team first so we can be distracted by sports or will it go to first responders, essential workers and the elderly. Overall the number of NCAA basketball players and coaches would only be a needle in the haypile of vaccine produced.

If the PAC 12 is playing college football, I have faith that there will be a CBB tournament in 6 months.

I'm reasonably confident there will be an NCAA, mainly because they economically cannot afford to skip again. That might not be the right reasoning but the tourney is also built to bubble up each regional etc. so I'm confident they're going to try.
Now whether we're in it....personally I don't see it but I'll be happy to be wrong and rooting for the team every step along the way

If I had to attach a percentage to it...I’d give the Hoyas a 30% chance of making it. I think we’ll be on the cusp and need a run of 3 or 4 wins in a row late in the season to make it. It seems like we’ve been in that position the last several years and fall short. This year may be no different but I do think we’ll be within striking distance again.

That is a reasonable projection.

Let me start by saying I'm always optimistic until proven wrong... 1. Nova, 2. Creighton 3. Provy 4. UCONN 5.Xavier 6. Hall 7. GTown 8. Quette 9. StJ, 10. DePaul 11. Butler
I feel like I'm missing something with Butler and Quette. I just don't see what they have coming back that makes them good. I really expect us to finish anywhere between 5-7... 🤷🏾♂️

I think we're missing the bigger picture. Next year isn't about wins and loses it's about keeping the integrity of the program intact (or restoring it?). PE has to show that he learned his lesson the last two years and that the new crop of recruits are more interested in playing basketball at and attending GU than in bolstering their NBA credentials. In short, no more personnel drama. Granted a disastrous w/l record will hurt but losing two or three players mid season for disciplinary or other reasons would hurt more.

Not trying to create a "ball hog atmosphere (aka James Akinjo)" but what player will be the first to score 20+ out the gate this year?

I'm just hopeful he's figured out the mentality to put it all together this year. If it's not him, I'm gonna bet it's the gunslinger Blair, because he can put points up fast if he gets hot and he's not afraid to shoot.

I'm not that knowledgeable on our recruits, like many on here are, but I have to think Sibley is poised to get the most minutes early. Don't know if he's a big-time or microwave scorer though. With our unsettled & somewhat shallow depth at guard, though, and his range and handles, I could see Dante Harris have one of those games where a bench player gets hot and blows up for 20+. I can't see our other frosh having the minutes or the role on the team this year to do it, but would love to be wrong. I'm sure the recruiting experts here would have much better ideas.
