Couple of things: 1. Is College Sports.com going to do a fancy/schmancy prospectus like this for us? www.collegesports.com/auto_pdf/p_hotos/s_chools/prov/sports/m-baskbl/auto_pdf/2005-06ProspectusThis is not the first I've seen in this format, but I suspect the school provides the content. Nice to have it online 2. College Hoops Net is starting their Previews of the Top 144 teams. I'll post our opponents as they come -- just keep in mind Georgetown did not make the Top 144 last year, but beat about 10 teams that did. Up first, a seriously underrated #138 St. John's. The writer LOVES small schools: www.collegehoopsnet.com/preview/2005/138.htmThey have Belmont at #129. So while the rankings suck, it is nice because they have a good grasp on who is starting usually, etc.

St. John's will definitely be a much improved team this year and will not come in last place in the conference, nor should they be relegated as the #138 team in the nation. They will be much better than that. I do recall our squad losing to this very team last year which had a lot less firepower then it will this year. These two games against the Red Storm will not be a pushover, especially with Darryl Hill lighting up the scoreboard.

St. John's is heavily under-ranked on this website - I'm sure that they suffer from a lack of national attention or understanding of how the program is progressing similar to that which we have gone through in recent years.

College Hoops Net caters to the smaller schools in weak conferences. It's a joke that they have 144 teams ahead of any Big East team, except maybe USF. I mock Rutgers as much as anyone, but Quincy Douby is player of the year in half the conferences in America.
St. John's at #138 likely means no Seton Hall or USF in the Top 144, and maybe no Providence or Rutgers.
