Full house on a Wednesday night, big student section, lots of local support. PA announcer is promoting standing room only tickets for Saturday's game. The college basketball experience at Creighton is everything Georgetown is not right now. Face it: Georgetown is a bottom feeder program in the revamped Big East. Never thought I’d see things this bad. Patrick has a huge job ahead of him. Unsure he’s up to the task.

As good as Allen was earlier this year, he’s been pretty bad since the Butler game. Think teams have learned how to defend him. Learned how to defend and with Mac and Yurtseven out he has felt pressure to score. He lost his focus on creating for the 4 others on the court as his number one task and things have slid off a bit.

I’d rather we shut the program down and shift the $$$ elsewhere if the next five years ends up being like the last five. Depaul on the Potomac is a waste of time and money.

Why not shut it down, de-emphasize athletics, and make a play for the Ivy?

Losing some respect for McDermott keeping his stars in and letting them fire away from 3. Hope we are ever in a position to make them feel the same against us.

Only six pages of comments? Only 14 predictions... less and less interest...

Interesting idea. Strange that no one has discussed that idea the last 25 years.

why have the starters in the game down 23 pts with 4 mins left? Said the same thing in the waning minutes of the Marquette game. Some felt it was better to keep fighting to lose by 20 than maybe save ourselves for a little extra push against Xavier. We saw how that turned out. Not that this team will be competitive vs. Nova playing this way, but if you are thinking about trying to win on Wed. at the Garden, I want the staff to be cognizant of time and score on Saturday and use the bench accordingly.

The beauty of tonight’s game was it wasn’t televised. The nova game will be on national TV. Can Fox flex us out? Can we pull a PK80 surrender? Speaking of which that early season tournament next year in CA with Kansas, UVA, and UCLA might need the same treatment...
