As for passing....who the hell was he going to pass it too on Sunday? It wasn't as if he just pulled up for jumpers immediately everytime he got the ball in his hands. Actually MCI, he did start to do that a bit in the second half yesterday; it became painfully obvious that when he got the rock he was going to hoist it. For all of the very valid reasons you enumerated above.

He took one bad quick jumper in the second half when he should have waited for some tyupe of offense to be ran. Other than that he took outside shots when the ball was swung his way and he was open. You have to take those shots. But since he wasn't hitting them he would pause on a few occasions and look for a teammate.
We'll just have to disagree on this one.

Agree to disagree; I didn't perceive him to be that open. I sat with Carlos and Ron and we started joking about how we could predict when Pat would jack up another j as soon as he got the ball!!!

Look back through the threads. Egerson, Sapp, and Thorton have played a couple games. Egerson has probably been the standout thus far, with Sapp playing pretty well too.
Patrick Ewing Jr. is killing people.

Has Roy still been playing as uncoordinated as he did during the beginning of the year?

No, but the jury is still out on the degree of his improvement - from what I've seen in the posts of those that were actually there.

Patrick Ewing Jr. is killing people. I'm pretty sure that'd be called a foul, even in Kenner.

This is purely speculative, but perhaps Kenyon Churchwell is playing in the Kenner leaguebecause he'll be playiong/wants to play for Harvard's team next year?

Thanks....I used to love watching Ridnour at UO while I was in law school in Eugene....the guy is sick and Jay Bilas is still eating his words about ripping the Sonics for that pick... SFHoya: have you had a chance to see a game in Eugene? The gym is so old school...it's like a mini-Boston Garden, and for my money (and Andy Katz too for whatever that's worth), it's in the top 5 Hoops environments in college BBall. It will be interesting to see how the Hoyas do with the crowd all over them. For that matter, it will be interesting to see the kids at the Pit get all over me when I'm there cheering on the Hoyas in my old school Hoyas satin.
By the way, has anyone seen the Nike reissue special edition Hoyas '84 BBall shoes? They are awesome-grey and blue with "HOYAS" across the heel. Maybe they're only available out here in Nike country, but if y'all have a chance to pick them up, you should.

PDX - never been there. Is it going to be tough to get tix? I am going to try to go through the HHC, but I wonder about the allotment. How hard is it to grab tix/scalp, etc?

ptld - what are the chances the 2005-2006 Hoyas came out on the court wearing the throw-back kicks?

Thanks.
Unfortunately, we won't get extra credit with the committee for going to such a tough venue, I don't think. But it should help prepare us for anything in the Big East.
