Unexpected developments: Pickett’s rebounding; Blair’s passing; and, Mosley’s perimeter shot.

Funny thing happens with a 7 man rotation....Blair is hitting the boards a little and doing some facilitating....Picket has been under control and playing some defense. Jagan has been doing everything & like ELVADO pointed out he is looking like a modern-day Eric Smith (true praise).
With T. Allen handing out assists these guys know if they miss a few shots they will not get pulled and that the small crew wants them taking good shots.
Jagan’s shooting looks fluid and confident. Blair looks mentally free knowing that if he misses a few he will have more opportunities shortly. His overall floor game is what has impressed me more. Watch as he hits the boards on both ends and hands out some nasty no-looks...
Jamorko to me has been a quiet leader. He plays D and hits the boards. He makes some beautiful fall away jumpers and there will be games where he carries the team to victory.
The entire team and coaching staff deserve a lot of credit. Is it just me or does it seem like T. Allen looks like an “old school Hoya “....would have fit in with the Bryant, Mike Jackson floor leaders of yesteryear...
This team will win a game in the Big Dance....maybe 2 and be a tough out after that. They will fall because of what made them strong...lack of depth which will overcome their cohesive and team-first play.

Whether we end up in the ncaas or the nit...depends on this 3. They played great thus far. Hope they expand their games and continue to improve once big east play starts.

BlueandGray, you're on the right track, but throw in Mac, Yurt and Allen and then emphasize how well every player has been distributing the ball to their teammates. The team as a whole seems to have found a great rhythm in passing the ball to each other. GT, with a little luck and selflessness, could become a ranked tournament team. Merry XMAS and Happy New Year to all!
