It's not bizarre. It's very petty! IMO It's about access. Goodman has none and never had any going back to when Georgetown was a perennial top 10-15 program in the good JT3 years. JT3 was much more friendly with Andy Katz at ESPN. Goodman probably wanted access to info and instead was shown the door. He obviously took it personal and now he's revelling in the team not doing well the last 5 years and making it known every chance he gets. That's why personally don't use him as a primary source of information and if I do accidentally see something noteworthy he has posted, I double and triple check out with other media heads before giving it dn't credence... I'm not so sure - I think it has to be more than that for him to burn so many calories on this. If it was just a problem with JT3, wouldn't it have died when JT3 left? Instead, Goodman devoted the entire year to going after Patrick Ewing.

I only used JT3 as a time frame from when Goodman was at ESPN and the Hoyas were annual Top 15 program (2006-2013). Georgetown's control of media access goes all the way back to BIG Coach in the early 80's during the Hoya Paranoia era. While the program has made huge strides in access (to make Etomic happy), they still very much control the narrative. For some members of the media (Feinstein and Goodman) that rubs then the wrong way.
