At the risk of Editeding off Coach Esher... uh... the_way, here's a little ACC tidbit. Katz and Co. did their little ACC dance today. Some love going out to BC, too... according to them, watch out ACC. sports.espn.go.com/ncb/news/story?id=2098180

How can Katz have UNC with an up-arrow. Did he watch the NBA draft? Does he know they lost every decent player they had? Since when does a team of David Noel and some good recruits warrant an up- arrow.
Katz is clueless.

Besides, how do you go "up" from an NCAA title?

I think the up arrow represents UNC's tremendous upside potential.

What has BC done in the last 100 years? Doug Flutie and not much else. A Meteor would be a good thing - at least it would open up some realestate in Boston.

Actually, it would open up land in Chestnut Hill, which, last time I checked, is outside of Boston. We should have known not to trust a school who's whole name is a lie.

Folks, let's take it easier with the meteor talk. Remember, I've got one more year on campus there. You wouldn't want to rub out good ol' BuffaloHoya with this meteor, would you?! At least let me grab a few freshmen or sophomore girls and make my way down to DC before the meteor hits (their campus - unfortunately - is a lot better looking that G'Town's).

English has the phrases "acceptable losses" and "collateral damage" for a reason. Just know that you've been warned.

Wow - wild times up there at Chestnut Hill Penitentiary.
Skinner comes off HORRIBLY in that article. Talk about looking the other way. He's not concerned with specific incidents only that the players put themselves in bad situations? C'mon, Al. Get your head out of the sand. The actual incidents ARE the problem. Don't give me any of that "he made a mistake, let's move on crap" when the kid is threatening a fellow student.
What I also found interesting were all the little unspecified one game suspensions they've been handing out left and right. Looks like Chestnut Hill Pen is giving U Con a run for their money.

This is nothing new for Barely College. Those of us down the Mass Pike at Holy Cross have known this about BC for years.
Anyone remember BC's point shaving scandal in the last 70's? It was a year or two before I arrived on campus, but my older brother recalls the entire student section at Holy Cross waving BIC disposable razors at the Beagles the year the scandal broke.
Anyone for a game in Worcester? ;D (No need to answer we got results on that question a week ago.)

I will not take pleasure in the suffering of others for fear that my gloating will come back to haunt me. Physical violence against women, cheating, drugs, pretty crime to get drugs, alcohol abuse, gambling and other addictive behaviors are all rampant in our society even among people who occasionally know right from wrong. No one should get a pass for these heinous acts, but don't start throwing rocks even if you hail from Worcester. The other coaches commenting knew enough not to take shots at Skinner or BC. Kudos to the Globe for a pretty decent and balanced job of reporting.
