Shouldn't the track go around it in a circular fashion? It would seem to me that one going down the middle of it would necessarily be straight and thus very tough to run events longer than 100M on ...

This project should definitely inhibit the next cicada infestation in 16 years. And that can't be anything but good for recruiting.
