As in, where the &$*#&! did it go?
I appreciate the work of the cheerleaders, but their weak arms can't reach my section in the 200s. This is a Charlie Daniels level travesty. For the love of God, return the T-shirt cannon by Senior Night!

For the love of God, return the T-shirt cannon by Senior Night! It was used at the Villanova game and most of the other home games this season, so I doubt that this is a longterm issue. I didn't see the alumnus who fires the cannon sitting in his usual seat last night, so my guess is that either he couldn't make it to the game and they didn't have anyone else that knew how to operate it or the compressed air hadn't been refilled for this game. I've also heard that there have been a few occasions where other teams have used the cannon and not refilled the air for Georgetown, leaving us out of luck for our games.

I always assumed we didn't get many tshirts because they're trying to not get too close to the visiting team's huddle. Mac's mom was in our section last night and didn't even get a tshirt.

Thanks - that was much more useful info than I expected! Good to know the cannon endures Georgetown leases the cannon and sub-leases it to the Wiz of all things. 1) The gun, as it turns out, is not actually the property of the Wizards. It’s being leased by Georgetown, and then sub-leased to the Wizards, who last weekend replaced the Georgetown branding with custom Wizards paneling before wheeling it out for the first time. 2) Georgetown, as Dave McKenna and Casual Hoya have noted, has had high-powered T-shirt weaponry for years. But the Hoyas only upgraded to the newer and rarer double-barreled model within the past year. The double-barreled model has 30 barrels, weighs about 600 pounds when fully loaded, stands just shy of 10 feet tall, uses 80 pounds of CO2, and can fire off 60 T-shirts in five seconds. This is not your slightly older brother’s T-shirt Gatling gun. www.washingtonpost.com/news/dc-sports-bog/wp/2014/01/24/the-wizards-and-their-double-barreled-t-shirt-gatling-gun/?utm_term=.f8b1c68a4b6b

As I understand it, only one person is licensed to operate the gun during games. If he cannot attend, it's just the cheerleaders. I hope on Saturday he is there!

A "lower bowl" problem if I ever heard one When they first rolled that thing out they used to announce that "all sections are in play!". They have rightfully dropped that claim since...
