I know it's still early and I'm not too worried, but I don't like that we often are first in the door and kids really seem to like us, and then a few months pass and we're barely on their radar.
I'm talking Timberlake, Che Evans, Henry Coleman, Ace Baldwin, Casey Morsell, and even Terrance Williams for a minute there before we got back into it... I trust Pat, I just hope the assistants (aside from Kirby) are doing a good enough job following through with recruits. Obviously we're not going to land everyone, but still

Man I want this kid most in the '20 class. A class of Davis, TWill and Timberlake would be Top 20 in recruiting or maybe higher....this year will excite the 20'& 21' recruits....

Many of the 2020 kids will be gone by the time conference season hits next season, the staff needs to get in much sooner than later...

Hoyas have lost on many recruits because the other school was in there earlier and built a solid relationship. We’ll see if that holds true here.

The three that I stated won't be gone in Dec/Jan....unless they get wowed by a blueblood.... Here are the Rivals top 150 for 2019, they list when a player commits.. By, my count, of the kids listed between 40-100, 48 of them committed sometime in 2018 or before... The early signing period in November is pretty big, you could be right about Williams, Davis & Timberlake but the odds don't seem to be with you... n.rivals.com/prospect_rankings/rivals150/2018

I mean, seriously, we couldn't ask for a better 2020 recruiting target at PG that we have a reasonable/legitimate chance to sign. All 10 fingers and toes crossed on this one.

If Akinjo is a 4 year player will a top 100 recruit want to come in and not be running a team for 2 years? I get it if you apprentice for a year but if you are talented enough wouldn’t you prefer a location that allows you more run in year 2??

However I doubt a player looking to commit takes that into account. He sees a freshman now sophomore point guard that was just named freshman of the year in the conference and I guarantee to some degree that weighs into his decision that Akinjo "could" be here for 4 years. I think that is a natural part of the decision, it would be naive to think otherwise...

All we need is for one of the two to go pro and their will be plenty of burn for RJ....I'm on record that I think one will be gone to the league after next year....
