Who knows for sure but I'm hearing Hoyas from a source I consider well-connected.

Get him and Terrance Williams and I'm pleased. Anything else is a bonus

Davis and Moncrieffe would do. Really want Davis and I hope he pops sooner rather than later.

The 5-foot-11 guard from Archbishop Stepinac in White Plains, New York, is an absolute gamechanger in the backcourt. The ultra-quick and shifty point guard was named Westchester/Putnam Player of the Year, leading the CHSAA in scoring at 25.4 points per game. He added per-game averages of 7.0 rebounds and 4.9 assists while shooting 49 percent from the floor and 34 percent from three. He's scored 1810 points in 89 career varsity games, already holding the school scoring record for Stepinac.
Davis should slide in and play a huge role for the Renaissance, and he will have the opportunity to play alongside some talented players.
We caught up with Davis before the circuit tips, asking him about his thoughts on the Renaissance, his role within the program and their goals for the season.

This is my fave PG from 2020 the Hoyas have offered. It's the perfect situation to learn under and spell Akinjo for 2 years.

Lock him up. We need to be all over him especially with Mike Anderson looking to hire some NYC connected assistants.

He will keep moving up the rankings and I'm sure he will get more offers. I hope we keep constant contact and push for his commitment over the summer. I think he would be ideal to get major minutes behind Akinjo as a freshman and then take over the PG role if Akinjo goes to the pros after his junior year.

I hope we get a commitment before others get heavily involved.

And Andy Borman will probably be hired by Anderson. He's the director of the NY Rens.

I wouldn't read too much into the Step coach being at the St Johns press conference. Keep in mind - the Step coach has to recruit too! It helps him get players to be seen with the top D1 coaches in the area.

Hoyas need to stay in close touch with Stepinac... not just for Davis, but his teammate Griffin Jr as well
