I have been wrong (Cameron) and right (Mac) before re: recruits, but IMO MAM changes the look of GU basketball if Pat gets him.

MAM should be priority #1 for 2020 if Efton Reid is staying 2021. Then it should be Kerwin Walton. A transfer will happen later in the spring but we need to snag these two sooner than later.

I've seen alot written about MAM's elite athleticism, defensive potential and ability to attack the basket off the bounce...how's his shooting ability (mid range and 3) if anyone knows?

There isn't anything more the staff can do right now...it just all depends on what MAM wants...we offer everything a wing could want if he likes the "city life"....

No inside info but I like how this seems to be trending. How about an upset of the Hall to get him to commit on the spot??

Let's win and close hard and persuasively with him. He fills and area of need.

Assuming no Mac for the Seton Hall game, I'm not expecting a win but I'm hoping the game is competitive and well played so MAM can see how he would fit in with the team next season and beyond. If Seton Hall drills us and plays well I fear it could be a big negative in this recruitment.
A good crowd would be helpful... join us!

You have to believe he is concerned about the way things are going at Oklahoma State this year, where he just had an official visit. They had a good OOC start but I don't think they have won any conference games yet this year and have been getting blown out in some of those games. The Hoyas have also struggled, but their struggles can be tied to the transfers which the staff can actually use to show Moncrieffe that he should be able to earn a lot of playing time next year. At this point I would think the Hoyas biggest competition for him is Seton Hall, where his teammate from last year is playing. Hopefully a good showing against Seton Hall, while Moncreiffe is on his visit will put the Hoyas in the drivers seat for him.

Then again Powell is gone next year so SH will look completely different. Well, and McKnight and Gill too...

As long as Oklahoma State keeps the coach, they're going to have a ridiculous amount of NBA scouts at practices and games because of Cade Cunningham... Moncrieffe has said he's friends with Cunningham in a few interviews, I'd also bet he's aware of the exposure he's gonna get as well... That being said I'd still put my money on Seton Hall right now...

Hows the weather in DC today? Shouldn't be too hard to beat Ontario's current gloom.
