"Ewing and assistant coach Robert Kirby were on the team plane headed to a tournament in Kansas when news came through that Connecticut had released Akinjo from his national letter-of-intent following coach Kevin Ollie’s firing." What's this "team plane" that Ms. Wallace references in her article? NetJets or something similar?

Jaden Robinson? He still on the team? Did you read the article? He was mentioned. He's been on the bench at every game and usually is the first guy off after a big play happens. He's a walk-on, not everyone is going to mention him in every article just like when someone asks you to name 5 players you are very rarely going to say George Muresan.

Short sided on the picture. Should have had Grayson Carter on the cover as well. By the time his 4 years are done he will play a sizeable part of the return to greatness...

After watching Josh on the court, I am not surprised to hear he is the leader off the court too. Josh may be the most important commitment we’ve had in a long time.

For the first time in I don't know how long, we have 3 natural born leaders in the team. Light at the end of the tunnel... Lack of leadership at all levels has brought the program to where it is now.

Of course I read the article that's how I found out that we had a freshman guard named Jaden Robinson. I didn't know if he was a legit recruit (like the article implies by including him with Grayson Carter) or a walk on. That's why I asked the question. I appreciate your (snarky) answer.

Jaden is a walk-on guard out of Baltimore area. He was added as school started. He was a decent point guard in high school.

This should definitely motivate Grayson, he knows he's on their level, just needs to play with confidence.

How could this be? Hoyainla has told us many times this year that James and Mac should never be on the floor together?

I could have sworn basketball was 5 on 5. A few years back someone actually had the break down on points per possession by lineup with different players on the floor. Would love to see those numbers this year!

I would love to see Grayson play more, and I would like to what Jaden's game is like. He had a good reputation Baltimore. Practices must be pretty good with Omer, Grayson, Jaden and Jagan on the 2nd team.

Would love to see those numbers this year! I had compiled plus/minus figures, based on lineups, for the past two seasons. After receiving some posted HoyaTalk criticisms as to whether the statistics really reflected anything of note, I decided to stand down this season.

Would love to see those numbers this year! The more expensive services like HoopLens keep track of the points per possession per lineup, but nothing I am aware of that's freely available or available for a small sum. Back in the day, Hoya Prospectus provided those numbers for free, and it was fantastic, but they stopped a while back now.
