Slightly OT: When did they start letting high school kids have Jersey numbers like 16? For as long as I can remember high school and college players were allowed to have numbers 1-10 & no double digit numbers where the 2nd digit was higher then five. For example you could have 15 but couldn't have 16-19 for refereeing purposes. Same for Jersey numbers in the 20's, 30's, 40's & 50's... Also...I really really like Gardner's game!

Wouldn’t that have been over the back?

What exactly is Gardner's game...appears to be a very strong/physical wing, especially in attacking the basket...but does he have the ball handling, passing and 3 pt perimeter shooting of an impact college SF...or is he an undersized PF? I like his perceived toughness...just wonder about the rest of his game...we desperately need a big time SF to come in the '19 class (how about a guy like Battle?)...also, I know Gardner visited, but anybody know his level of interest in us?

He's pretty skilled, not just a banger. A little fitness upgrade and he'd be a terrific addition at SF for us. I don't see any better wing options for us at this point - unless you consider Quinones a possibility, which I don't.

He took an official visit... so many say that is a keen sign of interest. He's not giddy but seems to be soberly determining what's best for himself. He left Detroit to go to Spire for a better opportunity....we have been on the case....photos show Orr was there last week. Our coaching staff is not sleeping!!!! I hope he comes to us. Look at earlier video clips he can get the ball up the floor in traffic.

On one of these pages (or you can Google it), there is an extended highlights video that showcases some of his skills. Great frame for a high school kid who excels in transition and has good ball handling skills and vision for being 6'6. He knocks down 3's in his highlights but don't know how much of his game is centered around this.

Just out of curiosity when will he be reevaluated? I've been following some of Spires tweets and he has been putting up some good stats. I feel like he's improved over the pass month or so, as far as ranking goes. I like these kinda sleepers especially if we can keep the poachers, aka the Blue Bloods away.

In one of those same videos Gardner talks about leaving his high school to play for Spire. He expressed regret for leaving his teammates at a time when they were vying for the state championship; however, Myron emphasized that his interests come before his high School's. The question then becomes what did Coach do and say to make Georgetown seem like the best possible choice for Myron? Unfortunately, we're not likely to ever know that.

Unless of course he chooses Georgetown!

Good to see Gardner is playing well and filling the stat sheet, he would be a big get for the program and fill a real need. The one thing I did notice was the 1 for 8 from 3 point!! Yikes!! Would like to se e abetter percentage for a small forward.

Not trying to be a Kill-Joy but it appears that Myron is Robin to Balls Batman! Any video of Myron shooting from the outside, maybe a three from deep?

The only thing I would like to see more of in his videos is jump shots. I like everything else. We need well rounded players, at least a couple, could be different positions, that are constant threats from outside.

Young man seems to have all the skills the Hoyas need from Pickett this year. I hope the staff can close the deal.
