Is it odd at this point that no one other than Ron Bailey has reported this commitment...? Probably because like us we know nothing about the guy! Certainly no stateside coaches letting media members know he committed

Welcome to the Hilltop. Coach Ewing and staff are doing a solid job casting a wide net to get recruits on board.

I love this. The only way it could be better is if he were described as a 5’9” guard...
Patrick clearly learned well at Big John’s knee.

With all of this fanfare and speculation I hope that where there is smoke, there is fire and we actually have a player. This is exciting and does remind me of when rumors of Dikembe surfaced. He was well hidden with rumors of a 5-10 guard and he turns out to be 7-3....when do we find out for sure?
This is how we get players...short notice. All this waiting on players and being in their top whatever always falls flat!!
Looking for an announcment....a bird in hand...a big bird!! This is how it should work with our reputation as Big Man U, and the international reputation of Georgetown. I hope it is true!

I just saw a commitment story on HoyaReport...that makes it true. So excited things are really rolling now..."Houston we have take-off."
Makes me feel greedy...waiting (in time) for a couple of really talented SG/SF. We're moving!!!!

In some of the pics his shoulders are massive. Great job by the staff! He showed about what I would expect as an 18yr old vs 24 yr old 4 yr college players. Should be a solid depth player this year as he adjusts to the US and the college game but will be a quality rotation player with Y7 next and then a star his third year (if he isn't drafted on his measurables before that). Staff Moves in Silence!!! (the new TTS).

Somewhat derivative tweet (as in nothing that isn’t already out there or in this thread) but adding nonetheless.

This kid will be fun to watch. An under-rated gem with tremendous upside.

He won’t unlock his true potential until he learns the Jimmy Dolan Shake and Bake.

Watching those videos, he has no idea how to really use his physical ability yet. I hope this means Dikembe will mentor this kid because he has the chance to be something defensively, he can get up quickly.

The biggest positive of this situation I can see is the willingness of Pat & staff to work every avenue to finding talent, and the connection it may build (revive?) for African players to come to GU on the regular. Especially if this NBA Academy continues to grow there.
As for Timothy... sooooooo many questions.
