#1. Play together as a team! #2. Have fun playing together on and off the court #3. Move the ball, look to pass first, find the open man #4. Every player must be a valuable player on offense and defense #5. Don't be afraid to shoot the ball, even when the shots are not falling #6. Understand that the goal is to demoralize and annihilate your opponent #7. Understand that you cannot fall asleep at any point when you are at war #8. Understand that every game is a battle and the battle is for 48 minutes #9. Play with attitude #10. Be prepared to give your team a lift, even if you have to put the team on your back and carry it

“Every player must be a valuable player on offense.” Recently, I feel like we’ve had no more than three offensive threats at any given time. Guys that would take and make an open shot.

You missed the most important one: 3 of the top 15 players in the entire league. And #8 does not apply to the Warriors this year and it didn't matter at all because of the aforementioned fact.

Draft high and develop your players. It's an NBA model not college. The one thing they have done well is find pieces that fit together. Green was a home run for them and makes all the other pieces work. Hoyas need to find their type of players and develop them while preparing for the inevitable early entry. They should be fully prepared for a Pickett departure after this season. Not saying it will happen, but have a plan in place. JTIII got caught flat footed swinging for the fences and missing and having guys head a year early.

I think, though, that has been the mindset of Ewing since becoming coach. But, again, I think you are absolutely right. We need more players who can come in contribute right away. After last year, I think we would have to agree Ewing seems to be a coach who can develop players.

People say this, but the way the Warriors play, it's definitely a chicken and egg situation. Durant is clearly a Top 5 player on any team in any system. Curry is a Top 5 player, but there's absolutely teammates and coaches who would have never helped him realize his potential. His worth ethic and team first attitude are a key reason why he's a top 5 player even though physically, he's nowhere near that. Klay and Dray are both amazing players, but both are highly flawed, and benefit, again, from the team concept. Neither can create off the dribble; on half the teams in the NBA, they'd be wildly underutilized -- Dray as a defender only and Klay would be told to stand in the corner. Numbers #1-5 of OPs post are entirely right. Players play hard, both ways, that aren't afraid to take shots, that share the ball. It all reinforces the other elements -- players included in the offense play hard on defense. When players are unselfish and team oriented, they can call out teammates like Draymond does without it festering.

I really don't see where, talent wise, the Warriors are in a separate league by themselves. They do have two amazing shooters, but, as we have seen, some nights those shots are not falling. That's when I seed the real team concept kick in.

Klay is not a flawed player. He's a terrific player. He can create off the dribble, he's just more efficient and not looking to pound the rock. But his strength and footwork allow him to get to the rim.

I'm just so happy lil' Kevvy D got his spoon fed glory! I hope Steph didn't forget to burp him, I heard he spit up on the Laurence O'Brien trophy last year.
