Good news for the men as both Amos and Nick are going to Eugene!
Amos had the 14th fastest time, but he was 3rd in his heat (2), as they picked the top five from each heat and the next two fastest times. Amos ran a 3:46.64. Nick on the other hand had the 7th fastest time, but he was also 7th in heat one with a time of 3:44.91 and he was the last time qualifier. Having completed his heat one, he had to wait for his time to hold up when heat two was done.
Congratulations to Amos and Nick!

Sabrina ran on Oregon's winning 4x400m relay at the western regionals. And in a reversal of fortunes for Sam Nadel, who had just missed qualifying for the 10000m (first non-qualifier), made the 5000m final as the last time qualifier. I guess my shouting helped her get the time require.

Great posts. Will be rooting for Sabrina at NCAA. She looks like a different runner than at gtwn-pretty much world class. Would have to think that the base fitness she built up at Gtwn + the speed training at oregon has been a perfect storm in a good way for Sabrina. Have to still wonder if sabrina and sam nadel's significant improvement at Oregon vs Gtwn will hurt our recruiting of high elite women going fwd. This years incoming class is very good for the women, I would think it might be more of a going fwd issue especially if the women's team subpar performances continue.
