This is rock bottom for me as an AI fan. And topping it off he has Kutcher coming to his Celebrity Classic this year. Now it will set up a "Rickey Henderson" like moment where AI might not even know it's Kutcher and will introduce him to people as Kyle Korver. ( I say Rickey like because he once told John Olerud that he'd played with a player who wore a helmet in the field to which Olerud replied--"Yeah, that was me" as Rickey played with him in NY--Mets and Seattle) Watching AI get Punk'd is all time low. As of now MTV hasn't announced when this will air, but it's over next few weeks as a new season starts this weekend. Got this off Sixer Fan site and just felt shame. Ashton Kutcher is a moron and the bits are lame and tired. This will involve Allen getting kept out of his own B-Day Party which has been done a few times by Kutcher and various "gag" shows. AI's dropped a notch with this one. Sad day for AI fans everywhere.

What is he supposed to do? It's not like you choose to be on the show -- it chooses you. And if you don't release it, people just say you were afraid to show how you really react.

I agree. Why would I lose respect for AI because Ashton Kutcher decided to punk him??? That line of reasoning makes no sense.

How about Ashton Kutcher's career is getting a push since he's actually punking people like the great AI who are't his friends now?

i would give approx $70 to see A.I. flip out and smack ashton around a lil. then threaten him with some big gangstaz. i seriously don't understand why more people don't do this to him...
also, agreed that you just come off looking like a b!tch if you refuse to release the footage. A-Rod got punk'd and then didn't release, what a Edited bag....

First of all most of that show is staged. There are a few people they get and it takes a real tool to "act" in a Punk'd skit--but then again Hollywood and Kutcher's friends fit that description. And with him being in AI's celebrity game, there was obviously a tradeoff here--You do my show, I'll do your charity event or vice versa. All I know is that I'd pay to see someone stick Kutcher in a cell with "Bubba" and see what the real definition of Punk'd is--and he'd be making Ned Beatty noises real quick.
I was being sarcastic towards AI but I do think the show is lame and it's ironic that Terrell Owens, a good friend of AI's is also getting Punk'd on this year's show--rumor has it he'll be offered a big contract and Eagles will have Kutcher come in and say "You've just been Punk'd"--oh wait, that would be too creative/funny for that show.

Thank God I don't know who the hell this guy is or what show you are talking about. You can't lose respect for someone if you don't bother to watch all the godawful "reality" tv or Fox, or MTV, or whatever this thing is. I managed to avoid my Red Sox players on that gay make-up exhibition show. An easy decision. On the other hand, I am running out of Law and Order reruns that I haven't yet seen. I can't wait for Boston Legal to come back. I love that show.

By itself, this is not that big a deal. What really worries me is that MTV never, EVER runs anything that is not a cross-promotion with something else they are planning. The inbreeding on this network puts European royal families to shame.
Allen Iverson appearing on Punked? That's acceptable.
Meet the Bubbachucks? Allen & Mo: Newlyweds? Pimp My 'Do?
Unacceptable.
