I watched this and Amos started to come up on Comber in the last 50m, but he was totally spent to the point of his legs buckling before he crossed the line (I was worried he'd fall; good for him for holding it together and crossing). Paulson of Princeton bumped Amos multiple times on their leg, pushing him into Lane 2 at least twice. Great run by Amos.

Thanks birdman. Amos ran a great anchor on the DMR, which probably took something out of him today.
The splits for the 1st 3:
1 Villanova 16:23.75 Logan Wetzel (4:09.0), Ben Malone (4:04.6), Andrew Marston (4:05.7), Casey Comber (4:04.5) G 2 Georgetown 16:24.22 Jack Salisbury (4:10.4), Nicholas Wareham (4:03.6), Spencer Brown (4:03.8), Amos Bartelsmeyer (4:06.4) F 3 Princeton 16:25.16 Conor Lundy (4:09.1), Garrett O'Toole (4:04.1), Noah Kauppila (4:06.2), William Paulson (4:05.8)
I'm surprised that they didn't DQ Princeton. Of course, that would not help us. Good legs by Wareham and Brown. They ran the 2nd and 3rd fastest splits of the whole race.

And Nova won the women's 4x800m relay, all four running under 2:07. The Hoyas do not have a single women running under 2:07 this year. Nova was just 2.5 seconds off the national record.

I hadn't realized that Mississippi and Indiana had such great 4x800m relay team. The Hoyas ran a wonderful time, but only came in 5th.

Of course, if we had Joe White, Spencer Brown, and Amos Bartelsmeyer running, we could havee been closer.

Just found this out and why Rey Rivera had a slow DMR 800m split: Georgetown leading at the 400/800 handoff when they drop the baton.

For the team(both M/W) I guess were really looking at next year to see if they can return to form. The men could have a few competitive people at the NCAA meet. Wonder what happened to Joe White.

Joe is redshirting and Scott has retired from running. Too bad about Scott as he was tabbed the favorite in the NCAA 3000m SC based on last year's performance.
