Looking at the schedule, it seems POSSIBLE (not likely), but possible that we could go 5-0 to start before starting Conference Play with Fordham...
09/01: at Marist 09/08: CAMPBELL 09/15: at Dartmouth 09/22: COLUMBIA 09/29: at Brown
Thoughts?

I think we'll beat Campbell. My only other thought is that the Dartmouth trip in mid-September would be nice.

Thought we had a player named Wins Galore and he was going to start and got excited.

What makes you think we are going 3-0 against Ivies? 0-3 the most likely scenario. 1-2 seems slightly optimistic frankly.

I appreciate the optimism but the talent level is so low on this team that the schedule appears troubling.
Five of the first seven are on the road:
1. Sept 1: (Marist): Opening at Marist is a toss-up. The Red Foxes have a new QB and backfield but usually play tough in Poughkeepsie. 2. Sept.15: (Dartmouth): Dartmouth is coming off an 8-2 season and have won 10 straight non-conference games, most since 1956. 3. Sept 29: (Brown): Hoyas are 1-4 all time vs. Brown, 0-2 in Providence. 4. Oct. 6: (Fordham): Georgetown's last win in the Bronx? 1974. 5. Oct. 13: (Lafayette): Maybe the most improved PL team from 2017, returns seven starters on offense and seven on defense.
As for the two home games in those first seven:
1. Sept. 8 (Campbell): Campbell moves from a Pioneer team that lost to Georgetown on a fumble return with 1:27 left to a 36-scholarship program in 2018. Much like Stony Brook a decade earlier, they have too much incoming talent for Georgetown, which is why this series ends in 2018 with Campbell heading to the Big South. 2. Sept. 22 (Columbia): The Lions roared to an 8-2 run in 2017 and may be seeing GU in its rear view mirror.

I would bet that 0-5 is probably significantly more likely. 5-0 is the least likely outcome.
