Pickett maybe our best player next year, even if Jessie comes back. You think Jessie is our best player right now? Marcus is our best player.

This may come across as negative but it is intended to give credit to Ewing. I'm glad he benched Juggy before the game got away from us. In the past Ewing has let the rope extend too far when the freshmen are making bad decisions that are killing the team. Today he yanked the rug and let the kid watch and learn.... Good point. Patrick recognized how much we needed a win for our confidence. I wouldn't say he benched Juggy. Ewing remembered at the end of games his decision making wasn't the greatest.

You think Jessie is our best player right now? Marcus is our best player. It's a team game. If he has a bad game people will make another thread about what's wrong with Marcus. smh

A bunch of Hoyas had great days including MD, PIckett, and Dickerson. I like Pickett, but he has a long way to go defensively. Everyone in basketball does especially the NBA lol

I am not sure I would say we had good guard play this game. Between Dickerson, Mosely, Blair, and Mulmore: 26 points, 8 turnovers, 1-9 from three point range, 1 offensive rebound, 3 defensive rebounds. They did all have a fair amount of assists, and 2 point shooting was okay, though. Derrickson and Pickett really carried us this game. Jesse Govan struggled, but I think Delgado is his toughest matchup in the Big East. Deleted, what game where you watching. Our back court made some great decisions at the right time. Esepcially under 5 minutes. What game were you watching. www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/playbyplay?gameId=400988608 You make a post saying one thing, then saying another. Make up your mind. SMH ... Dickerson was steady today at the point! You're going to turn the ball over period. The question is when?

Why wouldn't you like the stall ball tactic? Up 2, having watched this team play the last two months, we need to limit possessions as much as possible. I thought it was a good choice knowing how utterly absurd our decision making is once the clock strikes two minutes. Was great to wind that clock down. I don't what the hell some of these dudes are watching ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/eyesroll.png)

How so if the coach drew it up? I'm more concerned about the defense on that final play! That was a great look for SH. Because of his awful stall ball call on the previous possession.. This isn't the four corners. Stall ball with a shot clock ![???](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/huh.png) lmao

LOL. People forgot the previous two games when pushing Govan down to the third best player on the team.

I don't think we played very well down the stretch (especially our defense on that last play), but I am really happy we finally won one of these close games. Good games from Pickett and Derrickson. I didn't like some of the lineups we put out in the last few minutes, but we won, so I'll leave it at that. I am glad these kids get to enjoy a win. Pickett has definitely improved in the last few games, which is a good sign. In addition to some good shooting, he only had one turnover. The guards are still struggling, but this game shows we can win - at least some of the time - without excellent guard play. ![(:))](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/ninja.png) Why are you getting angry? Hoyasaxa2003 pretty much never has anything positive to say. That's par for the course. Relax.

Give Dickerson credit today. Played the near perfect floir general. Glad Ewing showed trust in him. You have got to be kidding me. I wish I lived on your planet. For you and deleted hoyasaxa2003 the lost one's on another planet >>>http://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/playbyplay?gameId=400988608 under 5 minutes...I'm trying to teach you two lol

Happy for Ewing that he notched his first top 25 rpi win....the first of many! And Seton Hall was REALLY trying to win this game during the second half. The Hoyas didn't fold this time around.
