SHU is ripe for an upset.
I can't make it down this weekend, but it would be great for a late Saturday afternoon crowd to help push the team to a win.
After all, it is a reprise of We Are Jortstown.

I really think this team is overdue to spring a surprise or two this month, and I think they will make some noise at the Garden in March. For the first time in a few seasons, I may make the trek up to MSG.

After so many close calls and meltdowns, it will be a true test of coach and players to see how they come out against Seton Hall. If they are flat they will get run over. Unfortunately i suspect that they are unlikely to have anywhere near a good crowd, unless the Hall brings a lot of supporters.

The team plays most BE teams close. Govan and Derrickson heavily in the scoring mix. However, come crunch time you need a guard to make a play. That’s why we can’t close. I see the remainder of this season following the same course.

DFW - the games is Saturday at 4, not Friday as indicated on the front page.
You should not be making these mistakes this late in the season.😉

I see the remainder of this season following the same course. You also need your coaches telling your point guard during crunch time the right decisions to make. You can't just blame the guards. You do have your coach's sitting on the bench.

To my eyes, we have played better on the road. So this game worries me, but I am a worrier. Hope the team just plays fast, aggressive and doesn’t start overthinking the end of game situations (this goes for PE too).

I see the remainder of this season following the same course. Unless the other guys can put it out of reach. That might be the only solution this year, is to get improved play ASIDE from the "needing to make a play" so we don't need to make any plays!

Oh well, they are not ripe for an upset anymore. Damn Marquette! Now, we will have their full attention.

Anybody know how I can get game on mobile device? Away from home and hotel tv doesnt have cbssportsnet I believe CBS still has a CBS all access free trial that should allow you access to the majority of their programming on mobile devices. Sling tv also has a free trial period that includes CBS sports in select markets. One of the two, hopefully, will work for you.

I'll be there Saturday. Hope we can get the upset. Seton Hall is a good team, but we played them decently well in Newark. Maybe inspired play and the improvement we have seen recently from Pickett and Blair will be enough to push us over the line. I expect another close game. Execution down the stretch will be key. I would bet that has been a focus in practice.

Need Derrickson to show up and stay in the game. Think we were up about 8 when he picked up his second with ten mins to go first half sat until a minute left and down 13

This had to be the lightest pre game thread for a big east game in quite some time

Well, if this an indicator of interest, I offered up a free ticket on the ticket exchange thread (Section 101, Row J, Seat 17) and still have no takers. So it's still up for grabs. Anyone want, PM ASAP.
