Not a lot of game day excitement on the board for this one. To be honest I'm as excited if not more so for Ewing's plans to head west for recruiting after this game. Nonetheless, I hope we can shake off the DePaul loss and play with some energy tonight. Of all the defeats this year, the DePaul loss just sucked the air out of me. If ever there was a game for which they should have come out strong, it was at home, after a nice overtime win and against a team that was banged up and had already lost to the Hoyas. Instead,we got a very flat performance throughout the first half and through much of the second half. It's gotten to the point that when they play well during a game, I sit there waiting for the other shoe to drop--not blaming coach or players, just a comment that the players and at least this fan all seem to expect the worst-- a turnover, rushed shot, failure to rebound, missed free throw, always something. Need to turn around these expectations of failure but that may not be possible this year. Tonight would be a great shock if they could handle Creighton's speed and outside shooting on a very hostile court. |

This Cincy-Memphis game will never end. And I don't mean potential overtimes. Worse type of game to follow.

Of all the defeats this year, the DePaul loss just sucked the air out of me. With all due respect if that affected you more than that atrocious showing at home against Villanova then you're doing it wrong. |

After the last Creighton game, Ewing said that he didn’t plan for Hegner. I’m looking forward to see what he has planned for tonight.
Control the boards and turnovers, play smart and it will be a good game.

Expected a win against DePaul at home. |

CBS sports network apparently follows the same stupid rules as its broadcast network. Why not immediately go to the Creighton-Georgetown game?
