Team needs to practice fast breaks, different coach same issue I also have no idea what we are doing on offense. Seton Hall is a good team but we aren’t moving enough or fast enough to get open looks. I know a lot of people on here have praised Ewing’s offense and maybe it’ll work better with better players, but I’m not overly impressed at the moment. I do realize it’s limited by our players though.

Doesn't seem to stop him from battling for rebounds with success. He has grabbed a couple, but also been out muscled twice. And he has been rejected or missed twice underneath. Don't get me wrong, he is going to be a contributor, but needs to get stronger in the off-season. I here ya. Every single player on the team with the exception of Derrickson needs to get stronger, and this includes the Jr Jessie Govan. Delgado is a man.

Team needs to practice fast breaks, different coach same issue I think we practice it, just don't have the talent to finish.

Kaleb should be able to play under control by now. Kaleb should be able to make a semi contested layup by now. The difference in the game is we have missed a minimum of 10 5ft or shorter lightly contested shots. While SH has made those same shots.....

This is not bad coaching. This is deficient talent and poor decisionmaking. I hate the term basketball IQ, but it appears our guards have too little of this quality. It is what it is.
We keep saying that and hoping for better.

Kaleb is really struggling in conference play. Does not even attempt the outside shot anymore. Yet what is the option? His defense is good but ball skills and offense lacking.

How do other teams find guards who can shoot from outside AND take it to the rim? The talent level blame is on JTIII, but if this continues next year then Ewing takes the baton of blame.

The only remaining suspense -- can we beat the spread?

The positive is much better, tougher D in second half, but missing a zillion shots at the rim and the continued turnovers ain't gonna get it done against a a top 25 type team. Need some finishers.

This is simply an example of a real talent/experience diferential. The kids try and PE coaches them, but... What is the staff coaching them on? Doesn't appear to be on how to make basic passes in the half court or out of doubles or in transition..

I sure hope we can attract some competent talent, stars or no stars.

Shot click runs down - and Kaleb just lets his guy go by for a chippy. A real bad day for KJ.

Very winnable game, but poise on the offensive end after stops in the second half was almost completely missing.
Can't fault effort as there was plenty of that.
