I love Oscar...he's a warrior (and likely not a one and doner)...

I love the athleticism, the offensive rebounding, the edge. The kid's also a man among boys. A question to the experts on the board: Has Oscar ever faced off against Isaiah Stewart? I would love to see a physical matchup like that.

I would love to see a physical matchup like that. To my knowledge no. They definitely didn't last summer. Oscar had played the last 2 years on the Adidas circuit while Stewart has been a fixture on the Nike EYBL. They could possibly meet in July this year after Peach Jam and Adidas championships in a late summer tournament in Vegas.

You want to talk dudes who play like full grown men? Me too. So let's talk four-star big man Oscar Tshiebwe. There simply isn't a player in the country with more desire to go and rebound the ball or more physical toughness and raw power in the lane. After starring at Iowa, Reggie Evans made a 13 year career in the NBA with the exact same attributes and it's hard not to be reminded of Evans when watching Tshiebwe play. West Virginia has been considered the heavy favorite on this one although new Pitt coach Jeff Capel is among those who is going to do what he can do give Bob Huggins a run. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/nbpa-thursday-eric-bossi-s-observations

Loved Reggie's game.

The way one college coach put it to me was a funny comparison, but it was pretty well put. He said kind of like dogs like to mark their territory, Tshiebwe goes out and marks his territory in the paint and then enforces it by any means necessary. He's physical, he's tough, he's quick and he's armed with strong hands that he uses to attack rebounds at their highest point. He's also a big-time one-on-one defender. West Virginia, Kansas, Virginia, Georgetown, St. Joe's, Clemson, Penn State and Illinois are just some of the many chasing him. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/adidas-gauntlet-finale-eric-bossi-s-scouting-notebook

Oscar Tshiebwe can dominate games ITPS is a first year program on the adidas Gauntlet, but even in its infancy it has made waves. ITPS made it to the semi-finals of the adidas Gauntlet Finale before falling in a tough game to D1 Minnesota. The story for ITPS however was Oschar Tshiebwe. The big man was absolutely dominant all week long in New York. A physical specimen, Tshiebwe was simply too much for anybody to handle one on one down low, and then his strength and motor totally separated himself from the rest of the players on the court. While he isn't the most skilled and doesn't have the highest ceiling as a prosect, it is to the point where everybody has to take notice of what he is doing. Tshiebwe was dominant at NBPA Top 100 Camp, and now he is showing he can put a team on his back and will them to wins. – Snow 247sports.com/college/basketball/recruiting/Article/Eval-Period-Storylines-Proposed-changes-not-going-well-top-player-in-2021-top-tier-in-2020-is-impressive-Kai-Jones-Dontaie-Allen-119838668/

Find me a more physically imposing and tough guy in the class of 2019 than Oscar Tshiebwe. I'm sorry, you can't do it. If you are headed down a dark alley late at night, he's absolutely the dude you want to have your back. Tshiebwe is a fighter, a competitor and has a motor that never stops. What has to be pointed out as well is that there's nothing at all dirty about the way he plays. He's just tough. There was a lot of talk among coaches that Tshiebwe's camp has been indicating that he's open to the recruiting process and not a lock for West Virginia, but those same coaches are a bit skeptical. If I was a coach, I'd at least give it a try because the last thing I would want to see is that dude lining up across from me and playing for Bob Huggins. basketballrecruiting.rivals.com/news/the-bossi-awards-first-live-period

Oscar Tshiebwe shines in big match up
Plenty of prospects helped themselves this week and among that group was ITPS Wildcats big man Oscare Tshiebwe.
Not only was Tshiebwe a dominant force in a head-to-head match-up with the nation’s top prospect, James Wiseman, but he was productive and effective through all seven of the Wildcats games at the adidas Summer Championship.
A strong, chiseled big man, Tshiebwe is a tough, physical post prospect that doesn’t take plays off. He’s active, goes after every rebound and looks to dunk everything in the paint. Tshiebwe has a ways to go with his skill set, but he plays with endless energy and it’s contagious. In my years of evaluating players, he may have the best motor I’ve seen.
In seven games, Tshiebwe averaged 18.6 points and 16.3 rebounds a game. He also connected on 52 of his 99 shot attempts.
