It would be interesting how he would fare in a team scrimmage.

Ervin received a scholarship offer from Appalachian State shortly after he reopened his recruitment.
Belmont, Bowling Green, Central Arkansas, College of Charleston, Duquesne, East Carolina, East Tennessee State, Florida Gulf Coast, Jacksonville State, James Madison, Lehigh, Liberty, Lipscomb, Marshall, Mercer, Presbyterian, Rice, Samford, Siena and UNC Asheville had all made offers to Ervin prior to his signing with Wofford.

With absolutely no knowledge on the situation, my guess would be Belmont. A good team last year and Alexander as a coach offered him at Lipscomb before he went to Belmont. Both teams succeeded last year and run very efficient offenses. It seems he would be a good fit there and could work to become another Dylan Windler like player, a good late developer. Marshall wouldn't shock me either, but they underperformed this year.
He may fill a need here and have a good relationship with the team, but I trust that coach Ewing would make the right decision. He's seen Ervin play and knows if he would fit the system or not. I wouldn't be angry either way, he seems like someone who very well could be a good college player.

He’s built really solid for a junior.

But Duke needs sharpshooters! Not to worry, Duke gets what it wants every year... well except Cole Anthony...

No, when did I say that? Don’t be silly. It’s pretty simple: Just like Mac, he’s under the radar because he’s from GC.

Seems like a step down from Wofford. I wonder if Wofford's new coach pushed Zac away or it Zac misplayed his hand?
