Think Duke -- J.J. Reddick and Grayson Allen. Mulmore annoys me more. Brutal. But that made me laugh.

The same problem as the one going back nearly a decade, we cannot stop other teams guards. Rowsey and Baldwin are good but we make them into stars.
And compounding this is the horrific ball handling and turnovers. MU had 20 points off our 25 turnovers.
I think PE and the guys are trying hard but the skills just are not there...

Anyone else surprised to see that Marquette is a 10 point favorite. I guess until we notch a top 50 win no one is going to repsect us, but we seem better than that. We are a bad call and a bucket away from being 12-0. As they say if you feel strongly that Vegas is wrong you have a way to show them. This line means they consider Butler and Marquette to be equals which I think is fair. I will likely end up taking the Hoyas because 10 is out of the meaningless fouls at the end of game range and Patrick has shown that he will play the starters til the end. I think he is the type that will keep guy pushing til the end even if the game is decided to make losses look better even when he should probably be resting the big minutes guys. We haven't been in that situation yet so I guess we will see. Well this made the game a little better. Way to not commit that last foul Hoyas. It's the little things right now

It's breathtaking to me that this game was decided by only 9 points. With about 25 turnovers by my count, I can't believe we kept it that close. It's staggering to think about that many possessions.
I'll say this -- Mulmore is a student athlete, not a professional. So I feel bad for him. Tonight was not a good look. I think that was one of the worst point guard performances I have ever seen from a major conference team. We have to look elsewhere going forward.
Derrickson was great tonight, and Kaleb and Pickett had moments on offense. Not much good besides that. We really need to win at DePaul.

Sorry but team is poorly coached. Kids haven’t been taught to value the ball. 22.5 turnovers a game in Big East play. Message needs to be— you turn it over, you sit. The problem is...that would require ALL of the guards to sit all game,

Sigh. Well we didn’t get blown out. Baby steps I guess? It is not baby steps as all the games have been competitive, It is the constant to's, if you take away Mulmore's 5 possession killers, the Hoyas might win Though the whole starting lineup was responsible for 19 of the 25 turnovers. Worst ball handling than DePaul today (23 to's)

Dickie Simkins summed up Mulmore’s game succinctly: “Attacking the paint with no purpose” and “low level composure” Time to flip Mosely into the starting lineup. Completely agree. Mosely should only come off the court when he needs a quick blow. Mulmore should not play period.

Think Duke -- J.J. Reddick and Grayson Allen. Mulmore annoys me more. Longing for the days of Tre doing a reverse pivot at the top of the key before passing to the wing.....smh

Pat deserves some heat for playing Mulmore during crunch time. What is he watching? There aren’t other options...so what? Play a big lineup. Ridiculous. Who else is he going to play -- go big with whom? There is NO bench.

I said when Mulmore committed that coaches I talked to said he wasn't good enough for a mid major, let alone a high major. They were right. He put up good numbers in a bad league.

Mulmore shouldn't be allowed to step on a D1 floor...EVER! Why was he ever offered a schollie? What does he bring? Jagan needs to start at the point period. He brings toughness and D. It’s not like Mulmore brings assists and low TO numbers. Yep. Add in the fact that Jagan will be here next season, and it’s a total no-brainer. Mulmore just doesn’t have any D1 skills other than speed. He looks like a track guy trying to play bball. Just shouldn’t be on the floor in critical situations. Give 70% of his time to Jagan and Blair.

Through two big east games, our guards have turned over the ball 26 times and made exactly 2 threes.

The dynamic duo of Mulmore and Dickerson produced...3pts, 0asts, 4rebs. I couldn't find the individual turnovers, but you get the point.

So many brain dead plays (we foul a 95% foul shooter who throws a pump fake with no time on the shot clock from 3 pt line)...Kaleb throws it into the backcourt on a simple pass to an open teammate when trying to comeback...Marcus and Kaleb wrestle over a defensive rebound at a critical time in comeback and neither gets the ball...where was Govan today...seemed to resort back to girly ball...why does Walker play for 3 mns and then get yanked...hell, he comes in and fights like hell for a rebound and wakes the team up...let him play, Coach! Why do we always foul the team's best foul shooter over and over again at the end of games...trap him, make him give up the ball and foul somebody else...our ball handling, passing and overall basketball iq is awful, especially the guards...we're not going to beat anybody unless we learn to play a helluva lot smarter basketball...practice running fast breaks without running over people...feed the lanes and finish, and if you can't finish just pull it back out and run the offense because otherwise its just another turnover going the other way...

Yes Mulmore was awful but Mosley does not have a great handle and also has been guilty of incredibly careless turnovers including tonight. There are no guards on this team who are capable of playing at this level right now
