At home with his feet curled up eating a sausage sandwich counting his 70 million. Joking aside, reflecting on his productive NBA career. Who would have thunk it when watching him that 04-05 season.

If he doesn't like the situation he can just walk away. Good position to be in. Do I think he has a little left in the tank, of course.

I think part of Hibbert's problem is that the game has changed and evolved in ways that have made players like him less valuable to NBA GMs. I think the same goes for somebody like Henry Sims. I firmly believe he would've had a longer NBA career had he come in a previous era.

I did a google search to see if I could find out where Roy was (I thought maybe Europe, China, or abroad). No trace of that, but I did find this pretty good analytically-minded Fanside article (though I disagree with a few points). Roy is the poster child of the freedom of play rules in the NBA. His value plummeted very quickly once his blocks were called fouls. FWIW, I think he's done in the NBA. If the Hornets (with Ewing as assistant at the time) couldn't really find a place for him on the roster, he's going to have an extremely hard time sticking anywhere. The article: fansided.com/2017/12/04/roy-hibbert-search-truth-defensive-stats/

He's going to be on TV. I'd put money on it. He has an ease in front of the camera.

Roy's margin of error physically is small because of his lack of foot speed. Roy Hibbert at 85 percent is just going to be hard to play in the modern NBA.
Love Roy and he had a great run there for a few years.

Well, anyways here Roy Jr. lol November 8, 2036
Georgetown Press Release: Hoyas Head Coach Jon Wallace announces the addition of Roy Hibbert Jr. to the 2036 class. The #1 prospect in the class will continue the long legacy at the program known for having legendary Big man but his versatility of being able to play all 5 positions will make him a standout and a perfect pairing with Patrick Ewing III as potentially the most dominant duo in college basketball. This signing is significant for Coach Wallace as he continues to build on the 5 NCAA Championships, 8 outright BIG EAST regular season and 9 Tournament Championships that his predecessor and mentor Coach Patrick Ewing Sr. accomplished in his 15 years at the helm of the legendary program. Believe it or not, some fans criticized the hiring of longtime assistant Wallace, saying the program should hire outside the Hoyas family or that Wallace wouldn't be able to recruit the highly athletic, versatile and skilled BIG's of today saying all he knew was guard play and 3 point shooting. Wallace even took a lot of flack for the hiring of former Hoyas Jeff Green and the newly retired 3 time MVP, 4 X Finals MVP Otto Porter to the staff. Roy Hibbert Jr. stated the family atmosphere that his father raved about at Georgetown being the key to his decision today to join the Hoyas. Georgetown will most certainly be preseason favorites to collect their 6th NCAA Championship next season. Notes: Anything is possible...
