Nothing like looking down on a teenager to make yourself feel better about your own life๐ Huh? I am sincerely wishing him well. He always gave us what he had when Pat called on him. 'vad you should know me better than that! ๐ - I wasn't referring to you. I was just piggybacking your positive post wishing a former Hoya success at his next stop. I should have just used a separate post, my mistake.

Agreed the Sun Belt conference is recognized as a solid Mid Major. Only thing that was Low Major was Hoyaboya's comment... Looks like he doubled down on the low major comment arena with the follow up post. Best of luck to the young man! Wishing Grayson a successful basketball and academic career. It's one thing for people to think your an a$$ but it's another to double down an verify it like Hoyaboya did with his follow up comments. Anyways good luck Grayson Carter and his family. He was the first recruit after a full recruiting cycle to believe in Coach Ewing. I still believe his leaving will be a loss to the program in the long run. I hope he balls out at UT Arlington...

Not sure which home big east game it was (possibly Providence) but opposing big man was abusing Govan in the first half by getting deep post position. Coach brought in Carter and not only did he shore up the middle but hit two big threes to help turn the tide. Thought it was a studly performance on his part by a freshman who was called on in the heat of battle. I like this kid and think he will do well as he continues to develop.
As for the haters out there....I honestly feel badly for you. There has to be more to life than bashing an 18 year old for giving it all they got.

You are accusing Ewing and The program of having made a mistake. You can praise Grayson Carter without being negative and bashing Ewing and Georgetown and 18 year old Myron Gardner.

Lol...where in my statement did I say anything negative about Coach Ewing or Gardner? Also what makes you believe that it was either Gardner or Carter? I hope you didn't hurt yourself with those massive leaps to your conclusions?

It seems like you are accusing Ewing and Georgetown of running him out of here which I still don't think is the case. He practiced against Yurt all season and sees where there maybe wasn't the minutes that he wanted for the upcoming season. I'm not sure why it can't be that simple and Carter decided he was going to pursue other options. The coaches knew that and continued recruiting for the scholarship that was opening up.

You said you believe that the program will regret losing him. In other words they made a mistake in choosing Gardner over him. Gardner was our last recruit and he put us over the scholarship limit. If Gardner had not come then Carter would likely still be on the team. For it to be a loss, Carter would have to outperform Gardner significantly. Even if they performed about the same it wouldn't be a "loss". Even if you go with your "it could be someone else", then you are choosing to root for a guy that is no longer on Georgetown over a current 18 year old kid on Georgetown with the "will be a loss to the program" comment. It's comments like that which are unnecessary and negative and which is why you are getting pushback from people.

I wish him well. No indication that he was anything but a positive for his teammates when he was here.
The past page and a half of posts indicate the actual basketball canโt get here soon enough.
Please take further back and forth to PM.
