Everyone who seems to have seen our returning players say that they have gotten much bigger - do we have a new strength and conditioning coach that came in with JTIII? If so who is it because he seems to be getting results ...

Perhaps we have some East German technology at work ...

I wouldn't insult Bonds these days - apparently he'll challenge you to a fight.

Thus far, a strength and conditioning coach has not been named, although we had one when Esh was around in Ed Spriggs. The University hired a head strength and conditining coach (Augie Morelli) two years ago, and added a second this past year. Adding a third for only one sport may not be necessary at this point.

Hibbs looks big but he needs footwork and hands work. BB, Tyler, and Green were beastin', tho.

As long as Hibbs is still capable of last second dunks against ND I will be happy with him.

I hope no one overhears anyone on the team talking about "the clear" or "the cream."

On a serious note: strength and conditioning are crucial to long-term success. As I've said many times on this board, D-1 basketball players should spend just as much time in the weight room and working on improving their physical process (speed, explosiveness, jumping ability, etc) and do serious D-1 college football players.
